I have dry sensitive skin, and Cetaphil is magic for me. I also have a lot of redness, and it helps reduce that. My face feels less dry and irritated, but not oily in my T-zone like it does when I use some other products. This cleanser doesn't remove makeup very well, but I just use a gentle, cream based makeup remover before I use the Cetaphil and it works well. Also, if you're looking for a gentle but really effective exfoliator, try mixing a little baking soda with the Cetaphil. It works wonders!

I have very sensitive and oily skin and am prone to blackheads. I used this product twice a day for about six months. It did not cleanse very well and my skin did not improve while using it. However, I did not have any negative skin reactions to this product. I now use Olay Gentle Foaming Face Wash and find it to be a much better cleanser. Overall, I would not recommend this product as it did not cleanse my skin very well.

I love Cetaphil! It softens my skin, has very little odor, and rinses off easily. I do not use exfoliants or resurfacing-type products; instead I use Cetaphil on a clean washcloth. This provides just the right amount of exfoliation without irritating your skin.

The only product that has ever worked for me is Cetaphil and I have tried them all. Nothing else worked because it was too overloaded with chemicals and supposed "acne fighters". Keeping it simple has cleared up my skin.

I have dry skin with breakouts on my chin and cheeks. I am very pale and sensitive. Nearly everything makes me get a rash but this stuff works wonders! I have used it as face soap for the past year and it really does the trick to clean it. It doesn't do anything else though, like moisturize it, so you'll need additional products for that. As face soap, it rocks!

I was excited to try this cleanser since I had read so many rave reviews, but unfortunately it left an unpleasant film on my skin. Also, this definitely does NOT remove makeup (though I hadn't really expected it to).

Great if you have to use harsh acne products such as Differin Gel. I always use it in the morning, and I don't wet my face before I use it...I put it on dry skin and rinse off with water, which I think yields the best results. Great in the winter time or ANY time you have skin on the brink of too much dryness.

I have oily, acne prone skin and for a while was using topical acne medication that made my skin dry and flaky. This product works very well at keeping skin moisturized while removing dirt and makeup. However I could only use this product on "good skin" days as I needed something more effective to dry up the acne. I wouldn't recommend it during a stubborn breakout unless you have sensitive skin. Otherwise this is a great cleanser for sensitive skin.

i dont know what the fuss is about this cleanser because it does absolutely nothing. i bought it based on all the fab reviews and it's actually one of the worse cleanser i have used. i admit it is very cheap and comes in generous bottle but it does not take off makeup and did not really lather or foam when i used it. i used it maybe three times then threw it out. totally inferior product.
