Cleansing your face with this product is like trying to wash your face with lotion. It doesn't remove makeup well at all. I suppose it may be okay for people that don't have oily skin and don't wear any makeup.

I have recently had a lot of problems with allergic reactions to skin products (very swollen eyelids that then dry out and peel), and so went to a dermatologist. She said this is the best product out there for people with sensitive skin. I now use the cleanser, cream, and lotion, and have not had any symptoms since. She feels that many people are allergic to lanolin, and there is none in Cetaphil products. I think this product is geared more to people with dry sensitive skin than those with acne.

I use to have flawless skin but then I started breaking out. I tried lots of products but it was no-go. I've used Cetaphil for like 2 weeks, and I don't breakout as much. Overall, from personal experience it's an average/ok product. Do I recommend it? Can't answer that.

I purchased this product and it was awful. My skin has recently become a bit oilier and I felt it would definitely help. Apparently not! Within 3 or 4 days of use (both morning and at night), my pores were extremely clogged and pimples and cysts broke out all over my face. I have never had bad breakouts, especially not this bad in my entire life, and I am now 22. No other part of my facial routine changed, in which I knew it was this cleanser. I switched to Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, and within days my skin has significantly cleared up. Dont waste your money.

This is the best facial cleanser I have ever used. There are a few reasons 1- Fragrance Free 2- Soap Free 3- Very few ingredients 4- Does make facial skin feel soft after using not just to the touch, but the skin actually feels moisturized and clean!!! I can't say enough good things about this cleanser, and for those with sensitive skin or even a face that is irritated, dry or red, try this cleanser. Give it a real chance say 4-7 days, and it will be worth seeing the results!

I can finally stop my search for a daily face wash. I work out on a daily basis, and regular face wash over dries and irritates my skin, even those that are promoted for sensitive skin. This product I can use and reuse, and never have to worry about breakouts or dirt and oil build up. It leaves your face smooth but not heavy with lotion like some products with moisturizer in them, and to think that I wasn't going to try this product because of the cheap look of the bottle and price. I'm so glad I did.

This is the best face cleanser that I have found for my skin that is really dry, sensitive, prone to breakouts (and I'm almost 30 years old), and redness. I love it. It's simple, and it works.
