My boyfriend recently had his face lazered to help remove acne scars. Cetaphil was the only cleanser they recommended, and despite the extreme sensitivity of his skin, Cetaphil didn't make things worse. In fact, I even got him the Cetaphil lotion and it made his skin feel better. I have been using Cetaphil for years and it is an excellent product, especially for those of us with very sensitive skin. When my mother started having a lot of dryness in her face, I bought her a bottle and now she is hooked too. I do recommend using a toner or eye-makeup remover (if you wear makeup) in combination with this product. Your skin will thank you for it. Plus, the price is very good, compared with other fancy cleansers.

I personally don't like it for my mild adult acne. But I was using this on my 3 year old toddler since the day she was born. I didn't know what to wash a baby's face with, so I just gave this a shot, since the baby all-in-one wash was to drying on her skin. This is the only thing that dosen't dry up her skin. She has beautiful skin, never a blemish appeared on her face. I bring this was everywhere with me. Even bring it to my sister's when she goes for her sleepover. I don't leave home with out it. It's a must for babies!

You shouldn't use this before bed to remove makeup. I have extremely oily Asian skin, and I find using a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil in the morning actually helps control the oil better than any harsh cleanser. After all, you're only removing oil and dirt when you wake up in the morning, so why use a strong cleanser?

I used this Cetaphil for two months and it was awful. It didn't clean at all. My skin felt like I just washed it with water. After the first month, my skin started to feel rough. The next week I started to notice some break outs. The week after that, my whole face was full of adult acne. It was like I didn't cleanse my face for two months. I switch to a regular cleanser from Oil of Olay, and my skin cleared up within three days.

You really don't need to be squeaky clean to have great skin - that only depletes your face of its necessary moisture, and the result is shiny oils that try to compensate throughout the day. This is the ONLY product my sensitive, combination, (with eczema) face will tolerate. You can even use it without water, great for camping. Within a week your skin will be softer, clearer, and more balanced, and you won't ever want to go back to harsh soaps. Great product.

I am 23 yrs. old and have been suffering with Eczema on my chin and around my nose for nine years. I have tried every thing from hypoallergenic soaps to prescription medication. Within the first three days of using Cetaphil my eczema stopped burning, and I no longer needed to use my prescription cortisteroid cream. After 10 days of washing my face and rinsing with cool water in the morning and night, my eczema has completely vanished for the first time since I was 14 years old. I have adult acne. I grew up thinking skin should "squeak" or it's not clean. I started breaking out, so I went back on retin-a, and decided to listen to my doctor and use this cleanser. WOW! After getting over the lack of squeak and lather, I am thrilled with the results! Just use an eye makeup remover before hand :) PS. I also was prescribed this for my son and daughter's ezcema, and it was the only thing they could tolerate. Very gentle and mild cleanser as they advertise. Doesn't remove waterproof makeup or makeup in general very well. The moisturizing film/ residue that's left doesn't make my face feel clean or refreshed, so I need to follow up with an exfoliator and toner.

Totally burned my face and left it clogged, oily and broken out! I can't believe this is still on the market. It burned my skin so badly and left it patchy and sore. Needless to say I will never repurchase. Two thumbs down!!!
