I bought this in the hope to replace my soon empty discontinued face wash. I have easily irritated combination skin and need something that's very gentle and not drying. While this face wash is not extreme by any means...it does dry out my skin and leaves irritated patches. I don't know why..but it does. It also doesn't remove make up very well but I could live with that if it worked else wise.

I have used Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser exclusively for years. I like a rinse-off cleanser that doesn't strip my skin. Of course, it does not remove make-up. I use this after I have used a make-up remover cloth. The design of the spout is irritating in that often, when some of the cleanser has coagulated in the spout and then you press the sprout - with your hand under it (!), it still shoots the cleanser a foot or more out at you, getting it on the vanity top or YOU.

I have rosacea and have tried MANY cleansers that have either dried or irrritated my skin. Cetaphil is gentle, and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. Also doesn't cause flaking like other cleansers do.

I have been using this product for a few years now and I love it. It cleans my skin well and I have limited adult acne breakouts since I have been using this. I've gotten my 16 year old daughter using it also and it seems to work for her too. She has extremely sensitive skin and it seems that she does not have the dryness with her skin as she has had before.

I used two different brands for acne skin by accident and it made my face really really irritated. I ordered this cleanser after doing a lot of research. It is really cheap yet works really well. I barely feel anything except clean and fresh. Now my irritation is almost gone after two weeks using of this product. Thank God I find one for my sensitive skin.

I used this in the past and it worked great. Then i switched to a more powerful cleanser and i wish i hadnt! this works really well, never leaves your skin feeling tight or irritated!
