A good product. I use this to clean my face before I put on my acne medication. As a 15 year old red headed male, my face gets dry and hurts. This product does moisturize, but is not powerful enough for my skin. However, it is still a good product!

My face skin has the tendency to have really clogged pores with some breaking out in addition to being dry and flaky. I am on a new regiment that is working marvelously and my skin looks really good. I am using Cetaphil in the morning, (massaging it into my face while my sink water heats up for about a minute and then rinsing very well with lukewarm water) followed by spritzing my face with pure rosewater, and then using Alba Daily Cream. Makeup is going on soooo much better. I do the same at night, except I soak a cotton pad in rosewater to get off any leftover makeup the Cetaphil didn't get since it's not the best at removing makeup (hence the 4 stars).

I have probably received more compliments on my skin due to using Cetaphil than for any other reason! I tissue it off, without using water. It makes my skin look and feel so wonderful that I can usually skip foundation entirely (which makes the 16 oz bottle even more of a bargain!). It gives me a soft glow and no residual tightness at all. My skin is very dry and sensitive, while also prone to breakouts, so cleansers tend to either ravage my skin or leave it greasy. Also, I have had problems in the past with dermatitis and this won't conflict with any of those medications. Lather does not mean clean, but is a gimmick that manufacturers put in products to make you think you are getting clean. Cetaphil works wonderfully without gimmicks. As for it looking unattractive in a bathroom, hide it in the cabinet or transfer it to a prettier container! I could not be without this fabulous product.

I've used this product for years as a morning facial cleanser on my very dry, sensitive skin. It's a mild cleanser that's not drying or irritating.

This product really works for me. I have sensitive combination/oily skin and it improves my complexion and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

This product is not worth the money. I was introduced to it thru my dermatologist to control my eczema and acne. It aggravated my acne and it felt like I could never get it rinsed all the way off no matter if I used it for my face or body. It doesn't lather at all which is supposed to be ok for dry sensitive skin, but you might as well just wash your face with plain water because this product doesnt perform. Don't waste your time or money. (I rely on Dove or Neutrogena).

I can't live without my Cetaphil. It doesn't feel like it's cleaning well, but I find that if I remove it with a wet washcloth, it comes off better. The overall condition of my skin is so much better since using it.

My daughter is 7 years old and has suffered with eczema since birth. I have tried absolutely every type of lotion type cleanser on the Market...Dove, Caress, etc. Finally we began to see her new dermatologist last year and he recommended this product and I LOVE it! She has the best winter last year that she has had since she was a year old! She is very sensitive to any products with dyes or perfumes so we have to be very careful with what is allowed to touch her skin and this product does exactly what I'd been dreaming of a product doing for many years!! Thanks!!

This is definitely a product you have to get used to. At first I thought it did nothing, but now (years later) when I use other products, like Neutrogena, it feels harsh and dries out my sensitive skin. I have generally oily skin, but my skin dries out from normal face wash. I would suggest using it long enough to let your skin adjust to it - because it's gentle and actually DOES clean (believe it or not) try using a toner after using Cetaphil, and the pad will be clean from dirt.

Cetaphil is #1 in my book! Since I have oily, sensitive, and break-out prone skin, this gentle cleanser works its wonders! I've tried other cleaners, and was so disappointed with the results. I guess I can agree with those who say the product doesn't properly rid your face of makeup after a cleaning. My suggestion to apply the Cetaphil and then take a cotton ball and gently wipe the make up off. Apply a little more Cetaphil and then wash. Just like you would do an astringent or something similar...that works great for me.
