This product is great...enough said. Just look at all the reviews that are good and look at all of the awards it has won. Everyone should at least give it a shot.

I used Cetaphil for awhile and wasn't pleased. When I would wash with it, it would dry out the skin on my cheeks so it's not THAT gentle. And at the same time, it isn't even strong enough to remove your makeup. I really can't recommend it, and I don't understand why it gets raves. Try Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Solutions for your skin type. Much, much better. Removes makeup, too.

I have oily/sensitive skin and I like this better than the Cetaphil cleanser for oily skin.

I'm sorry, but this is NOT my idea of a good cleanser. I can accept the lack of foaming without a problem, but the fact that my skin went from very nice (aside from a small patch of eczema) if a bit dry to broken out and rough in a matter of days is not acceptable. It made the eczema worse. I also think it felt disgusting- the petrochemicals are hard for me to tolerate.

I have used this product since I was a teenager. It's one of the best, non-drying and gentlest facial cleansers I've ever tried. If you consider its price, it becomes the best!

Wow! I have extremely sensitive skin, and after trying dozens of cleansers that made me break out even more, into hives, or drying my skin out, I've found my cleanser! I haven't had a break out for a year, except for the monthly zit! I'm on my 2nd year of using Cetaphil, and I love it!

I think Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is wonderful. I have sensitive combination skin and use acne products (astringent, cream), and since they can tend to dry out or irritate the skin, I need a cleanser that is very mild. Cetaphil is just that. I had hesitated before purchasing this for the first time because of the price, but the 16 oz. bottle is large and ends up lasting me for months (I use a nickel-sized portion and rinse off, and sometimes during the winter months I'll smooth on a very thin film for extra moisturizing). Now I hate to be without it!

Some people love it...I hate it. It does not later or rinse well. The scent is okay. I have been using it for a month. My skin is soooo dry and seems to be more red and irritated. Yes, it is winter and may be why they dry skin, but I live in FL. It seems to get good reviews, so must work for some people. Shame I wasn't one of them.
