This product, along with Murad Acne spot Treatment and Neutrogena Healthy Skin Lotion, has really got my acne under control. I've spent lots of money on more expensive solutions, but this is the best combination yet. The gentle cleanser does not aggravate my skin, and softens it like nothing else!

Everyone swears by this cleanser, but I have found that it doesn't help, instead it makes me break out. This definitely aggravated my acne and seemed to "coat" my face. With this cleanser, my face never felt really clean. One dermatologist said that I should stay away from products that contain propylene glycol (which Cetaphil contains), because it aggravates acne. I would not recommend this for other people with problem skin. The good news is that Neutrogena has worked wonders on my skin!

This is not a favorite of mine. It does not make my skin feel really fresh, it does not lather, it does not remove some of my makeup, nor does it feel like it rinses properly. I didn't notice any improvement in my skin from using this product and can't recommend it as having any tangible benefit. I suppose if you had truly sensitive skin, it might be good. But for me (normal skin, very slightly dry on cheeks), I prefer Noxema.

I had to comment about the Cetaphil Cleanser. I have been using this cleanser for years and just LOVE it!! I have Rosacea, and this cleanser is very mild and non-irritating on my face. This definitely is a Gem worth keeping!!

This is good for all skin types. This was not meant to wash off make up that is why it is so gentle!!! You can bring this anywhere, it is not messy at all and rinses clean with out being sticky.

The skin on my face has always been sensitive, but since I started using Cetaphil (about 10 years ago) I have had no problems with dry skin, rashes, or breakouts. This is THE product to use if you are tired of using all of those harsh cleansers that just plain hurt. Cetaphil is gentle on your skin but really cleans it. Also, it doesn't hurt when it gets in your eyes. You can even use it without water, which leaves your skin so soft!

My dermatologist recommended this product and I'm glad he did. This is very gentle and yet thoroughly cleans my face. It got rid of the blotchy redness on my face. I really heart it! I heard Cindy Crawford uses it, too.

This is definitely one of the gentlest cleansers I have used. I prefer exfoliating cleansers since my skin doesn't feel smooth otherwise, so I don't use it, but I would recommend that those with sensitive skin give it a try. It did not make my skin feel greasy like some other gentle cleansers have. It does a poor job removing makeup however, so if you wear a lot of makeup, you'll want to use a cotton pad of toner/astringent afterward or try a different cleanser.

It is an indeed GENTLE skin cleanser, so gentle that my face DIDN'T feel clean at all. It's like not washing my makeup off. It could be I'm used to using glycolic acid cleanser and cetaphil gentle skin cleanser is only good for people with sensitive skin.
