When my skin was so dry ...

When my skin was so dry and irritated from Shiseido cleansers I used only this for 2 weeks and my skin recovered. I did not see any clogged pores from it or new pimples but I started to use it only in the mornings. The strange think is that I do not feel any filmy residue on my face but this could be because I splash my face with water first then wash with the cleanser and then splash a lot of water to rinse it off. These days I use it on and off but I always have a bottle of it for those days when my skin needs only a gentle cleansing. This doesnt remove makeup well (but I do not wear make-up), and it cannot be used in the shower. I did find that the best way to use it is in combination with water, w/o water it does feel a little heavy. So, I think that it is a good cleanser but definitely not for everyone.

This is a good product. The only thing about it that I do not care for is that it does not leave my oily skin with a clean feeling. The lotion I use in the winter for dry skin on my body, but the cleanser on my face just feels like I have not washed it at all. It just feels greasy.

I have been using Cetaphil for years! It is an excellent make up remover; it isn't harsh or drying; it's wonderfully gentle. In a pinch, you can even shave with it! Yet somehow it remains inexpensive...why buy anything else?

I used Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser on my face and it made my face feel clean, refreshed, and soft. It leaves no residue. It has such a light, fresh feeling and it's not heavily scented. I would certainly recommend this product to friends and family!

Cetaphil's texture is somewhere between a gel and a lotion. It feels very nice on the skin, cool and moisturizing. Cetaphil felt so gentle on my skin, I didn't think it could possibly remove eye make-up. Was I ever wrong. Cetaphil cleaned up every trace of stubborn mascara and eyeliner, all without irritating my eyes. I applied Cetaphil straight to my face and removed it with warm water and a wash cloth. I found that this was the best way to rinse away any residue the cleanser sometimes left behind. I washed my face with Cetaphil twice a day and it always left my skin feeling clean, soft and moisturized. In addition, it's reasonably priced, a little goes a long way, and it has no fragrance. The one thing I found is that sometimes I need to use a toner to remove residue.

Cetaphil is a great product. It leaves skin clean and soft with no residue. I like the fact that it can be used without water and it removes makeup. It's much less expensive than department store "cosmetic counter" cleansers and works just as well. I also like the fact that it has a very mild fragrance.

The packaging of this product isn't particularly delightful, but using it certainly is. The cleanser itself is a bit gentler than I would've suspected for a deep cleanser, but it always left my skin smooth and clean. My face got softer and the Cetaphil seemed to decrease my acne. Still, it seems rather unattractive sitting in my bathroom, and doesn't smell particularly nice.

This facial cleanser delivers what it promises. It's a gentle cleaner that is great for sensitive skin. It leaves a film on your face that moisturizes your skin, which is a good bonus. However, I didn't always feel like my skin was clean. The film, although moisturizing, made my face feel as though I needed to wash it again. I would buy this product again if nothing else caught my eye.

I liked this product because you could use it with or without water. At night, I prefer to use it without water, because it leaves a little moisture on my face without putting on moisturizer. My skin is oily, so I don't like to put anything on it, but if I wash with just soap, it feels tight. In the shower, I like to use this product with water. It doesn't get soapy, it just cleans. I will never switch back to regular soap.

I would highly recommend this product to people that have some problem areas on their face. I used the cleanser every day and saw a dramatic difference in the condition of my complexion. My skin did not feel as dry as it usually did after washing. My friends and family also noticed that my complexion was not as red and blotchy as it normally was. After the birth of my children I have had numerous complexion problems. I have used various high priced cleansers, creams, etc. and did not attain the same effects that I did when I used Cetaphil. My skin felt smoother and cleaner after each use, again without the drying effects of other cleansers. I didn't feel like I was putting any harsh chemicals on my face. I will continue to use Cetaphil.
