i tried this because all of a sudden everything that has worked for me is causing me to breakout.i figured this was mild enough to calm my skin down, NOPE, lol. this caused breakouts & blackheads for me, i have combination skin & acne so finding products that work & won't break me out even more is still a work in progress.

Yes, this is a gentle skin cleanser. This is the first Cetaphil product that I have bought. It is not harsh or oily and leaves the skin feeling clean, moist, and refreshed.

I heard Cindy Crawford on Oprah many many years ago saying she used Cetaphil to clean her skin. Obviously this was before her endorsement of Dr. Sebagh products. I decided to try Cetaphil and have never gone back to any other cleansing product. I have Irish, sensitive skin, and it calms down my skin. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but it cleans off what I do wear thoroughly. I do not like the new pump dispenser. It stops dispensing product when there is a lot of product left. The old flip top was more effective.

This "facewash" does not clean your face! I might as well use plain water. I may be fine if you have dry or sentivive skin and don't have any makeup to wash off. I have used tons of different face washes and this is one of the worst ones I have ever used.
