I have sensitive skin and now I know why my dermatologist recommended Eucerin cleanser over this one. This cleanser doesn't clean well, leaves a film and sometimes cause pimples. Yes, I am an older customer,however, I don't like pimples at my age or filmy feeling skin. My skin is dry but I like for it to feel clean and soft not soft and filmy. I am now using Clinique's cleanser which makes my skin feel soft and clean not filmy. I would not recommend this product except maybe for people who have had plastic surgery or need an extra extra gentle cleansing.

I've read the raves for this product and figured I'd try it. I understand this would probably be wonderful for anyone with dry, and I mean super dry, skin. It might even be good for a person with Rosacea. It's very gentle. Too gentle. If you wear makeup, you should definitely look elsewhere. Same goes for those with acne.

This is the nastiest stuff ever. It does not rinse off entirely. Leaves a gross film. I never felt clean. The only good thing about this product is the lack of scent. If you want something that is gentle for your face try CeraVe. It has the same consistency but it washes off completely and improves your skin condition. Avoid this stuff altogether. It gave me a horrible rash as well. Will never buy again.

The cleanser is so gentle I can't tell if it's really doing anything. But I sure it is because I don't really get bad breakouts anymore and the pimples on top of my forehead went away. I bought it at [...]with a coupon (2 20oz for [$]). I like using it on my neck and sometimes my body. I'll be using it for a long time.

I have used this cleanser for years and loved it - until now. It does appear (as another pointed out)that the formula changed when the packaging did. This cleanser now has a strong smell, dries out my skin and causes irritation. I would not purchase this product again.

This product does not help in removing and cleaning dead skin from pores. After using this product for months, my skin became dull and lifeless. I think the people who like this product might be older customers who's skin doesn't have a high skin cell turnover rate . If your a young person with problem skin you need something that will help clean up and dissolve the dead skin and excess oil. I don't reccommend As far as being dermatologist recommended , im now convinced it's because it's a safe pick for dermatologist to go with. Because it's very gentle and won't burn any one's face off.

I cannot say if it removes my foundation or sunscreen, for that I use something else. But right after that I dap some of this Cetaphil on my face and let it soak for a couple of seconds and then I rinse it off. This all makes my skin moist and soft. I am not able to use any moisturizer (everything makes me break out), so this is perfect for me and people always think I am 30 or so when in fact I am 40. It also completely removed my dry dark spots on my face. Great product!

This cleanser is great!! I have been using it faithfully for at least 5 years now. My dermatologist recommended it. My skin is no longer irritated when I wash it and leaves your face feeling clean.
