Works surprisingly wellby Starbrite in San Carlos, CA on 10/30/09Pros: Not Greasy Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: All Skin Types, Daily Use Bottom Line: recommended I didn't think this could work as effectively as the powdered sheets (which I found difficult to find). This really does work in that it puts your finish back to where it was originally - without the powder (although I still liked one version of the powder style that I can't remember the name of).
I use these Neutrogena sheets at lunchtime every day. I keep it in the car and in my purse. I have mostly oily skin and I'm proof that it does work.
Best blotting paperby Cathy in New York on 5/16/09Pros: Gentle, Leaves Clean Feel Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: All Skin Types, Daily Use Bottom Line: recommended I have tried four blotting paper brands (Sephora, Clean and Clear, a rice paper one that didn't work at all and whose name I can't remember, and Neutrogena) and this one works the best plus dispenses easily. It's great at removing shine and it leaves makeup in tact. The package also makes it easy to take just one sheet at a time.
Mineral Oilby silverhorn77 in Oklahoma on 5/6/09Cons: Irritates Skin Bottom Line: not recommended I used these for a while before realizing that they contained mineral oil. If I had looked at the ingredients to begin with, I would have never bought them. They work ok, but I started breaking out after I had been using them for a while. If you have oily, acne prone skin like I do...don't buy these. I still can't understand why they would put mineral oil in something that is supposed to absorb oil...isn't that just a contradiction?
Good but Uncomfortableby Lara in Los Angeles on 4/28/09Bottom Line: not recommended I got these free when I bought Neutrogena's Deep Clean Cleanser and was excited to try them. I have extremely oil skin and they do an excellent job of absorbing oil, but the sheet feels plastic-y, rough and uncomfortable. I'm getting the Too Faced paper kind from Sephora next time.
Work great!by dendan in Portland, OR on 2/27/09Pros: Leaves Clean Feel Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: All Skin Types Bottom Line: recommended These blotting sheets work just like they're supposed to. They take care of the shine but leave the makeup. They are a convenient, affordable way to remove the shine without having to pile on more powder. I like them better than the tissue type blotting papers and just as much as more expense ones. I keep them in my purse all the time.
I would but this againby oily skin lady in Philadelphia, PA on 1/31/09Pros: Leaves Clean Feel, Removes shine Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Best Uses: Daily Use, Oily Skin Bottom Line: recommended controls shine on oily areas on my face
fineby calyptra in Southern California on 10/31/08Pros: Gentle, Removes excess oil Cons: Diespensing tricky Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer Best Uses: Oily Skin, Use as needed Bottom Line: recommended Product works as billed--a quick degreaser for the face. My only issue is that it is hard to avoid yanking out more than one sheet at a time from the dispenser.
Love itby Nothing in Cape Code,MA on 9/22/08Pros: Removes shine Cons: Nothing bad to say Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer Best Uses: All Skin Types Bottom Line: recommended This is the perfect thing to use after applying moisturizer. I had problems with the mascare smearing due to the moisturizer I used and this solved the problem. I love it.
These sheets are ...by Deb in Grosse Ile, MI on 1/9/08These sheets are fantastic!!! I have VERY oily skin and used to use powder to mask the shine, which only served to clog my pores. With these sheets, I don't even pack my powder. I just press the sheet on my oily spots and it soaks it up. I usually use one at lunchtime and another before dinner if I'm going out. You will not be disappointed in these and your face will love you.
I got this just yesterday ...by Melissa in Victorville, CA on 10/7/07I got this just yesterday and they are fantastic! I'll tell you 3 amazing things about this product. #1 it's from a company that is against animal testing, #2 it's CHEAPER than Clinique's version (or any other non-animal testing version) AND #3 it actually picks up more oil than any other brand. I have used Clinique, I.D. and when I was a teenager, Clean & Clear (wouldn't touch the stuff now because they test on animals). You won't be disappointed with this product!

Press sheet gently to skin to blot away oil and remove shine. Dispose of used sheet in trash receptacle. Use as often as needed. For easy pop - up dispensing, peel off tape on inside lid to expose adhesive, press the center cover onto the sheet and lift up. |
