I need to have a good unscented sunscreen that has no unwanted chemicals and I found it! I couldn't find anything unscented in the stores, so thank you Drugstore.com for offering this at a reasonable price!
We've been using this sunscreen for my son for over 3 years. It works well on his sensitive skin, and provides great protection. He typically goes outside twice a day at school, and he's never had problems.
After trying all sorts of sunblock, I've landed on this one. It's not as easy to rub in as say a regular old coppertone, but it's also not too hard either. Once rubbed in, all the white disappears. Works well.
Despite the SPF 30 description, the product sent (my order, April 2012) is SPF 50. I wanted good coverage for the kids, so this is fine to me.
I have a child that is highly allergic to *something* in many sunscreens. (We, nor ped can figure it out - most likely cross reaction with two or more ingredients, and perhaps even triggered by sun exposure in some of the chemical ones.) So even many sunscreens that are fragrance free and hypoalergenic and for sensitive skin or for babies, are still extremely problematic for us.
I have done tons of research and came across this brand. We are spot testing sunscreens on my daughter, and so far there is no reaction. I am EXTREMELY pleased.
For the sunscreen itself - it is moderately thick (normal) and white only at first and takes some work to rub in. But once rubbed in, the skin does NOT have a white sheen to it. (You will be white if you don't rub it in.) It was a bit of work to wash off my hands after applying to my daughter, so it makes me think it will hold up in water for a bit. Not sure if it will have a whitish color when wet. The smell is mild; there is no fragrance, but the ingredients have a touch of smell. Overall, I am extremely pleased.

Prompt delivery. Product was not as advertised (received SPF 50, not SPF 30).
I have only used this once, and it was thick and sticky - but what sunscreen isn't? It did take some work to rub it in, but I felt like my boys were very protected. No odor that I could detect.
Apply liberally and evenly 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply as need or after towel drying, swimming, or perspiring. Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor.
