My friend (who happens to be an M.D.) recommended this because I had those annoying bumps on my arms (technically called keratosis pilaris). Within 3 weeks, it was cleared up. I used the tiniest bit every morning after a shower, and my arms look great. You really only need a tiny bit for results. I just discovered that it is also great for "tissue nose, that red, sore nose you get from blowing your nose a lot with a cold. I slathered some before bed, and my nose felt good the next morning. Love this stuff!

This works great on clearing up rosacea. I used metro-gel for many years but my face always stayed red/dry/sometimes itchy. My dental hygienist suggested Lac-hydrin Five because her family had tremendous success clearing up rosacea in a very short time. Well, it took me over six months using it twice a day, but now my face looks and feels "normal" almost all the time. Wow!

Love Lac-hydrin Five, very moisurizing and corrects bad skin, and stimulates collagen, due to the lactic acid. Love this lotion.

This might be good body lotion, as it's intended, but I got it for my face. Unfortunately, this stuff was horrible for my skin, I had some of the worst breakouts I'd had in years for the month or so I was using it. Didn't like the faint ammonia smell, either. If it's working for you, great, but I don't see how anyone with sensitive skin could benefit from this.

I bought this stuff mainly because I hear it's good for clearing up acne. I'm 21, and my face still suffers from acne-- the ones not caused by hormones but from an inherited follicle disorder. Followed by a gentle anti-bacterial cleanser ( I use cetaphill antibacterial bar), I put a bit of lac hydrin on my face in the morning and before I go to bed. In just a matter of 3 days, my face is CLEAR-- more so than it ever has been! I was using Neutrogena's Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish... but lac-hydrin work better for my condition (and had more product-- that is if you're using it on your face only).

This product is AMAZING!!! I've been looking for a lotion to clear up those annoying bumps on my arms, and this did it. My arms are totally smooth now. It also works on you face and any other areas that aren't as smooth as you'd like them to be. Lac-Hdren Five works!!!

Since the previous moisturizer I was using was discontinued and it was the only product that worked for me, I was in search of another face moisturizer containing Lactic Acid. My skin is acne prone and very oily. This product is wonderful!! Lac-hydrin Five doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy at all, and keeps my face totally clear! I'm so glad I found this!!!

What makes this lotion so good is that it's LANOLIN-FREE! Many people have a wool allergy, and don't know most lotions contain lanolin, a wool product. This works, and doesn't cause any additional skin problems.

Well, I thought this was going to be a miracle lotion, as I had read in Allure that all the dermatologists use it. I have little bumps on my upper arms (I call it chicken skin!) and I was prepared to have them disappear. This lotion has helped somewhat; I guess my skin is a bit smoother. But the lotion is good in that it has no smell, is light, and non-greasy. Just be aware it doesn't work miracles! :)

I really like this product. It moisturizes my skin and leaves it baby smooth for hours. It also smoothed those ugly bumps I had on the back of my arms and thighs. It has a neutral scent, which is not bothersome. I wish they made a bigger bottle though, because it goes really fast.
