I'm not a lipstick person unless I'm going to a wedding or other formal event, so for everyday use, this is perfect for me. I've been using this color for a few years (my old stick melted in my car in the recent heat so it was time for a new one), and I've had a hard time finding a similar color in another product that I've enjoyed as much. If you have olive skin, dark brown hair and eyes, this is a great color for just about any occassion. Its two or three shades darker than my natural lip color so it looks very natural while giving an extra boost. Its a deep crimson- a very mature tone (not a girly pink or trampy red)- so it works for date night as well as the office. And its a simple application- just swipe on and go. Plus I love the added benefits of Burts Bees Wax because its super-moisturizing without being sticky or overly glossy and slippery. The color also gently fades into my natural color after two or three hours, so its not like it all comes off on my coffee cup after one sip. Highly recommend, great color and great natural product to keep lips healthy!

I love this tinted lip balm! It's probably my favorite one. The color Fig is gorgeous, very natural and basically a slightly darker shade than my natural lip color. I will be repurchasing this.

On applying really dislike the slight sting of one of the ingredients, perhaps camphor or mint. And, instead of moisturizing my lips this product dried them out.

I love almost all of Burt's Bees products. This is definitely a good lip balm/color for everyday use. I am fair, with pale lips, so fig provides a nice pop of color to wake up my face. It looks natural, not like I am wearing lots of lipstick. One drawback is that this does not have a lot of staying power. I have found that topping it off with a clear gloss helps it last longer.

Quit using other lipsticks decades ago! I have been using Burts Bees for years and years. I love the products! I just tried the Alba lip balms and am now carrying both since the colors are different.

I am south Asian with medium/tan complexion so for me Fig worked out best. it is very hard to judge the color from the cap. I don't use any other lipstick or lip gloss....This is my go to lip product. It doesn't dry out your lips and adds nice natural hint of color. but the bad part is it wont last long.

I have found that my lip color has faded since I've gotten older, and I also find that lighter lipsticks disappear into my lips. This gloss in Fig makes me look like I have very nice, natural lip color. The feel and taste of the product are pleasant. It does tend to fade but many lipsticks fade as I wear them, so that doesn't seem unusual. I have one of these in my purse and one in my makeup case at home - that's how much I like it. I would recommend it. I certainly hope this product and color are never discontinued!!!
