I dropped this brush on the ground once and it broke into two pieces. It should not be that fragile. Before it broke, it was convenient to carry in a purse.

These would be the greatest thing since sliced bread, except that if I put it into my purse, within a month it self-destructs & I can't figure out how to put it back together again.

I agree with the reviewer who called this hit or miss, but my experience was much more "miss" than hit. I bought two of these. The first one broke the very first time I opened it. The frame broke right off. The second one fell apart in a way that you could snap it back together, but again, fell apart as soon as I tried to brush my bangs! The only good thing I can say is that drugstore.com was very quick to refund my money.

The idea behind this item is great , I think. However, I received my item already broken. The rim of the round brush was broken, so the brush cannot be used (it basically decomposed). The overall look of the item is cheap, as well.

I thought it would come in purple since the description didn't say otherwise, but it came in magenta. No big deal though. Still functions the same way. Only thing is that it arrived a bit chipped round the hinge. Not sure about durability yet though.

I've used these for years and the first ever is still working fine! I have one in my travel bag, one in my purse, more in each car! I've used them for gifts, party favors, and in the guest rooms.

I keep this in my purse regularly as I always seem to need to brush my hair a few times a day to keep it from looking stringy. this brush works great as it is compact and even includes a mirror. this is exactly what I was looking for!

I have been looking for a portable brush to leave in my cars; it was almost impossible. This is very handy, and sturdy enough to be practical. It wasn't a waste of money.
