Bands are too tight which can cause a headache. Wore one for 30 minutes and had to remove it due to pain and discomfort. Don't recommend.

It won't stay on my head. I put it on and it rides up immediately in the back (and because of the "stay put" rubber on the inside, it scrunches a bunch of my hair up with it). Maybe my head is too big? I usually wear a M-L in women's hats so someone with a smaller head might be able to use these but definitely not one size fits all.

I have very fine hair so these might work for someone with a lot of hair or very thick hair. It completely just falls off my head, the gripper side is useless.

Work really well for me. I have to hike up my hair so that it doesn't touch my collar (military) and it works beautifully. Keeps my hair in tact and make it looks shorter than it is.

I have used these head bangs for the last six years. I had no problem with them until recently I took a trip to Puerto Rico from Upstate, NY and after just a few hours in hot weather, I lost my hair in the area where the head band was at. I guess the plastic in the grip area got hot and caused my scalp to react in a way that my hair started to fall out. Also it caused me a headache and it left a brown line kind of scar in that area. The hair is growing thank god, but will never use this product again no matter if it's in hot weather or cold.

easy lightweight to help pull my hair away from my face in 100 degree weather...does create headache after one hour for me.

Tried these, after my usual, CHEAPER hair elastic bands were out of stock at a local beauty supply shop. Not only did they NOT grip and did in fact slide back (I had to use bobby pins to hold the band in place), they squeezed my scalp and gave me a headache! Not worth the money. There're cheaper ones, that're far better.

I have thick straight hair and these headbands DO work in terms of keeping it help back and in place throughout the day. The problem is the elastic is tight at first and needs time to adjust to the size of your head, so keeping them in for extended amounts of time at first will likely result in mild headaches. They need to be stretched out, so if you aren't going to be patient with them, then they're not worth the money and you should look for alternative solutions.
