It is whisper light. It does absorb immediately. Your skin will feel silky and smooth. The only reason I gave it four as opposed to five stars is because the moisture did not last very long. The texture is great, it doesn't leave a heavy feeling on your skin, and the scent isn't so strong as to overwhelm your perfume. I live in Colorado which is a very dry climate expecially in the winter months and this does the trick to alleviate my dry skin. It's mildness works wonders on sensitive skin. My skin is very sensitive, and with this lotion I do not break out. The after shower body oil is wonderful and great for the summertime when you are showing off your legs. Gives a silky look.
