The natural bristles feel great on my skin, and are easy to clean when my hair gets wrapped around them (maybe once a month). I do not like the brush head coming off though, so I glued it on permanently. Otherwise it flies off when you are using it - could potentially damage items in your tub/shower. It was absolutely the best natural, wooden brush I ever had the pleasure to use. It lasted for years with constant use before the backing that held bristles to the brush base started to loosen and crack and then eventual bristle loss. These bristles never lost their shape or effectiveness. They were as firm and held together tightly as they were on the first days use. I retired that brush realizing it was time for a new one but regretted it ever since. I finally found the Body Benefits that looks identical to my older one and made the purchase without hesitation, we are talking about a back brush here, why has this finding a replacement brush brought so much grief to my life? The first month of use went uneventful until the bristles at close observation were all bent over and falling out, so maybe there was 25% of original bristles that were making contact with my body and not doing a very effective job of exfoliation or cleansing. That first one really spoiled me so getting one that lasts maybe two months would not be so bad for the price. I saw a Italian made one for 7x the amount I paid for the bad one on the same site. I was considering it but thought twice about it until I can read some reviews.on it. I also saw another one at another site for 20x that same amount but that just seemed way out of line for a brush. Why is it so hard to find a selection of bath brushes on one site? I noticed about 15 sites so far with a selection of one or two brushes max. Are these wonderful staples to bathing and exfoliation becoming extinct or something? I will continue on my trek to find the decent bath brush that will hold its own for a good 6 months or so. Wish me luck, I know I am not alone in this nightmare! Reviewed by 23 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 3/4/2014 Great for dry brushing Pros

Comments about Body Benefits Natural Bristle Bath Brush, 1 ea: Bought this for daily dry brushing and it works great - not too hard, not too soft. Afterwards I can see all the skin flakes that are coming off so even if it doesn't feel super scratchy/exfoliating I can tell it's working. I also did not remove the tape that connects the brush to the long handle, I like using the handle and didn't want to risk it not connecting back. Cons Best Uses Comments about Body Benefits Natural Bristle Bath Brush, 1 ea: I bought this brush specifically for dry brushing my skin for the health benefits that promotes. I do not use it in the shower so I don't know how it fares when wet or soapy. As a dry brush I think it feels very nice. Although I have not detached the brush head from the handle it seems as though you can and there's a strap on the head.

This one was very poorly made and fell apart in six months. Spend your money elsewhere. Best Uses Comments about Body Benefits Natural Bristle Bath Brush, 1 ea: I wanted a hand brush and this was the only one available. It got bad reviews, but it was cheap so I purchased it. I had trouble removing the handle and when I finally did, some of the wood splintered.

Comments about Body Benefits Natural Bristle Bath Brush, 1 ea: I was editing a book on cosmetic surgery, in which the doctor recommends a lot of other things before surgery. One of the things he said would increase beauty is to do a body scrub with a natural-bristle brush. He said brush all parts of the skin toward the heart.

Comments about Body Benefits Natural Bristle Bath Brush, 1 ea: This is the best bath brush ever! Handle is angled perfectly to allow for easy reach all over the back. Bristles are just right--not too hard, not too soft. Holds up well if kept in the shower.

Comments about Body Benefits Natural Bristle Bath Brush, 1 ea: I like this brush very much for dry brushing. I do not use it wet. I have left the packing sticker on where the head attaches to the handle so as not to have the head fall off during storage. A minor flaw in a good product.

Comments about Body Benefits Natural Bristle Bath Brush, 1 ea: Haven't yet used the product. But was disappointed in the use of tape that left a sticky tape residue after it was removed. It wouldn't come off with water, or with rubbing alcohol. Using soy bean oil I had on hand removed it completely in seconds. Gave the product a lemony fragrance and probably increased the wood handle's resistance to wear from water. Probably could get similar useful effects using any vegetable oil you happen to have in your kitchen.
