Great Product! by Nicole in Eugene, OR on 10/24/08Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Goes On Smoothly, Long Lasting, Moisturizes Well, Not Greasy Best Uses: After Cleansing, Sensitive Combo Skin Bottom Line: recommended I've been using this moisturizer for at least five years, and have been very happy with it. My skin is sensitive, and somewhat oily in the t-zone, but dry in other places, and this moisturizer effectively moisturizes the dry parts without adding oil to the oily parts. It works very well combined with my acne regimen of face wash and 5% benzoyl peroxide. I'm 27, so have only been using it since my early twenties, and hence don't know if it would be a good choice for teenage acne. If it had sunscreen it would be absolutely perfect!
Horrible, caused my face ... by Lisa in Undisclosed on 5/23/08Horrible, caused my face to not only break out in a rash but also gave me chemical burns under my eyes and on my cheeks. Would NOT recommend to anyone, sensitive skin or not.
I've yet to try a ... by William in Chicago, IL on 5/17/08I've yet to try a Neutrogena product I can use more than once without hating it. I've always regarded the brand more for acne-prone, oily skinned teenagers whose skin can handle the harsh Neutrogena formulations, no matter how much they try to market it for those with sensitive skin. This moisturizer is surprisingly expensive for something so basic and dated; not only is it especially oily, but it instantly turns my skin red. I'll give it 2 stars since it actually does moisturize.
I tried this on my face ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 12/29/07I tried this on my face and it was so-so, but one day, my hand was super dry, cracked and peeling, I decided to try it on my hand. Lo and behold, it turned my dry, parched hand, smooth and soft. This is the best moisturizer for my hands. It beats all those expensive brand name hand creams. Break away from the mould; try this on your hands and elbows instead.
After the first day I ... by Christina in Undisclosed on 12/5/07After the first day I used this stuff, I broke out. I used it a few more times and realized it was this moisturizer that was causing my breakouts. I ended up returning it. I don't think this stuff is good for those with acne-prone skin. A friend of mine that has smooth skin likes this moisturizer, so maybe it just depends on your skin type.
It worked great for me. ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 8/15/07It worked great for me. After moving from moisturizer to moisturizer I settled on this one. I have oily, sensitive, and breakout/acne prone skin. It gives me no breakouts and is so light! Absorbs wonderfully, as well.
I can tell you, this is ... by Lucy in Nye, MT on 8/9/07I can tell you, this is the nicest lotion I have ever used and I have tried a lot of them. Sometimes in the winter I need to also put on the Nightime Cream for sensitive skin. It is nice also.
2 stars only because it ... by estrella in Undisclosed on 7/29/072 stars only because it has petrolatum, which led to clogged pores and white heads.
I have tried other facial ... by Tina A in Colorado Springs, CO on 6/15/07I have tried other facial moisurizers and this is the ONLY one that does not irritate my skin! (even the other Neutragena ones, if they have the SPF, they actually burn my skin.. this one with out the SPF works, doesnot burn...) It is not greasy, very light, and if you use it right after you wash your face, it soaks in and does not need another application.
This moisturizer is very ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 2/1/07This moisturizer is very gentle, however, not very good at combating dryness when using topical medicines for acne. It is very thin, and I had to apply often to keep the flakiness from returning. Will not purchase again.
