It is lightweight and hydrating, and because it is oil-free, it doesn't clog my pores or trigger my acne, (which was a problem with a lot of other moisturizers.) If you have sensitive, acne-prone skin that also needs hydration (as I do), I highly recommend this product! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Wonderful for my ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/28/05Wonderful for my sensitive skin - a simple product to suit my simple needs. No scent, absorbs nicely, and a decent sized bottle. Prefer over Cetaphil because it is much lighter on the skin, no heavy or greasy feeling.
I take one star because there is no SPF protection. If this is important to you, I have also tried the SPF version to great satisfaction. There is no change in the product, but at first you will notice a slight difference in texture (a bit thicker) and a hint of sunscreen 'scent' (this quickly dissipates and is not strong or noticeable). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I only wish it would come with a tolerable sunscreen, because the other Neutrogena products with sunscreen just seem to be way too harsh for my skin. In magazine reviews, it always stacks up to the likes of Clinique and other expensive products. I've been using all the products for years including this one and my skin is great. I tried ProActiv and it TOTALLY made me break out. I can see why this wouldn't be for people with acne...you guys need to stick to acne medication. My skin is very sensitive, but dry, so it works wonders for me. Their foundation is also the only foundation that isn't goopy and doesn't make me break out. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I have eczema and I cant use certain moisturizers on my skin because it will break me out ad make me feel itchy. Neutrogena products are the only products that I can use without breaking out. | This lotion is so lovely ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 11/9/04This lotion is so lovely for my extraordinarily sensitive and acne prone skin. I have to be very careful of products my skin tolerates, and this is the first moisturizer I've ever found that I can use all over my face, neck, shoulders and back that doesn't clog my pores. It leaves my skin beautifully soft and supple. The lotion soaks in super fast and doesn't feel greasy to me at all, just soft after it is dry. I wear it under makeup during the day and again after I wash makeup off at night. A super product. Paired with my super gentle Purpose liquid cleanser, and Alpha Hydrox Oil Free Gel, I am now completely acne and irritation free. Wouldn't go without this great lotion.  This says it's for ...by Joy in Undisclosed on 11/8/04This says it's for sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't work for me. After I used it, my skin had more red patches and little bumps. It also made my skin look more oily. I wasted my money on this. I'm sticking to my Noxzema. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
