I've used this product ... by Carla C in Edgartown, MA on 8/22/07I've used this product for almost 10 years now. I've tried others, but have always come back to this one. It never causes breakouts and does not feel greasy in the least. I'm surprised that some people have found it heavy and oily. For me, it just glides on and sinks in. And I have oily skin! The only drawback is that if I'm going to play sports, it will run into my eyes and cause blurriness, but it never stings
I don't like this product ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/30/07I don't like this product very much. I have trusted Neutrogena but this product did not satisfy me. I was hoping for a sunscreen that would not smell like other sunscreens or feel shiny and oily. I believed the oil-free moisturizer. I am not pleased with the shine on my face after applying this. I feel I am paying for a greasy face. When I do use this because I want protection from the sun, I immediately have to blot my face with Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets and continue to carry the pack with me throughout the day. I would not be eager to purchase this again.
The only facial sunscreen ... by Sandra C in Everett, WA on 6/8/07The only facial sunscreen not to cause me to break out. I could not believe it! I am the worst reactor to facial sunscreens--if it's not big red painful blemishes along the side of my nose and on my jaw line, then it's the little white ones all over, or those lovely blackheads. After 1.5 decades of searching, this product is the only one I've found that does not clog my pores and cause me to break out, and I have tried everything--even the very expensive stuff! This does appear a bit shiny after first applying but is not sticky and I can't feel it on and the shine disappears with application of my usual makeup primer and stays gone even on my very oily skin. So I highly recommend this product but also recommend the application of a non-drying silica-based makeup primer with it if you want to achieve a matte finish or are using mineral makeups, which require "no drag" when applying.
I love this product. I've ... by Elizabeth in Glastonbury, CT on 5/23/07I love this product. I've been using it for the past 3 years at the recommendation of my kids dermatologist. I don't smell anything and I have a very sensitive nose! I also don't feel it as some others complained about. Maybe there were using way too much. I find that a little goes a long way; I only use one pump or less. I would suggest using less. It's a great moisturizer, I havent had dry skin since starting to use it.
The other negative ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/14/07The other negative reviews surprised me. I've been using this product for about 10 years and it's a very light moisturizer that's quickly absorbed into my skin. The only downside is that is only 15 spf, so it has to be followed by sunscreen.
This product is clean and ... by Joan in Camarillo, CA on 5/10/07This product is clean and *moisturizes* without residue, irritation, or breakout. I've used it for years and will continue to. Thanks very much for offering this *effective* Neutrogena product!

This stuff irritates my ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/24/07This stuff irritates my eyes, even hours after applying. It forms a sticky layer, like old fashioned sun screen, and it smells like it too. Bad product.
It left my face oily and ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 3/4/07It left my face oily and greasy! It claims to be 'fragrance free', but it smells like sunscreen. Also, it made my eyes burn from the smell. I will not buy this again.
I got this to alleviate ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 1/26/07I got this to alleviate any dryness from starting Retin-A and protect myself from the sun, as Retin-A causes a severe sensitivity. Unfortunately SPF 15 was not enough, I wouldn't visibly show a sunburn, but the next day I would start peeling for several days afterward (after the initial break in of the Retin-A). This was frequent on overcast Seattle summer days. It felt like I wasn't wearing SPF at all. Plus, I still have oily skin, so this didn't work well under make up at all.
