I have never been so happy purchasing a product for my period! This thing works, and it never leaked! I'm never buying tampons again. It was easy to insert, and I couldn't feel it. My only complaint is that every time I have to go #2, it always gets pushed out a bit. But I usually just take it out, finish, and put it back. I'm very happy I bought this. But now I have to figure out what to do with all the tampons I have haha!

I tried this because I heard wonderful things about it and thought it would be a good alternative to tampons which are sometimes uncomfortable for me. It did not work for me. It was very easy to get in and I did not feel it while wearing it. The issue was getting it out. I almost had a panic attack. It rode up very high inside (I've heard that can be an issue for a woman with a high cervix.) I had difficulty getting a good grip and breaking the suction. (It definitely did not help that I trimmed part of the stem before use.) I did manage to get it out painlessly. It just took a lot more effort than I anticipated.

Buying the Diva Cup has honestly and truly been life changing. It was a little tricky the first few times to remove and insert, but no more difficult than using a tampon for the first few times. I love the "non-absorption" factor of the cup, it makes my periods much more comfortable. It can be a bit messy, but not unbearable. For that reason, I try not to empty it in public, but with no risk of TSS and no chance (for me personally anyway) of overfilling, I can just wait until I get home.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this cup, so I was prepared for the worst. Fortunately, my first experience using this product was phenomenal. It is extremely comfortable since I couldn't feel it at all. I didn't experience any leaks either. After you insert the cup, run your finger around the base (the part you pinch to remove) to make sure the cup has completely popped open & suctioned itself to the vaginal walls. You will be able to tell. I only need to empty & clean it in the morning & evening. I am in love and I am not going back to pads. I do recommend you do ample research before purchasing, like reading all of the info on the DivaCup website, reviews, and watching YouTube videos of other women's experiences and tips. I believe this is why my first time was such a successful & pleasant experience.

The Diva cup saves me money and worry on always carrying tampons. But using it was not as intuitive as I expected. I've used it for one cycle and it was tricky to discover the best way to make it work for me and be comfortable. Luckily I was at home this time, but in the future on campsites or on the road, it could be messy and resource-consuming to keep the cup clean and deal with it outside of the comfort of my own home. Once I get the hang of using the Diva cup, I think with time and practice it could end up being one of my most worthwhile investments.

It is slightly difficult to insert at first, but it gets easier. It gives great protection from leaks if properly used and is such a cost saver over it's life! Tip-remove cup in bath tub with no bottoms on until you get used to it as it can be messy! Remember, have a bit of toilet paper or baby wipes handy to help reduce mess when you remove it. I think that's my biggest qualm about it is that it is somewhat messy to remove.

For someone who has not had a child, this thing is still too big and uncomfortable. I can't get it to fit right in there, and I can't get a finger far enough up there to break the suction without my fingers cramping and getting full of blood. Ugh. Waste of money.

I've heard only good things about the DivaCup, the only negative comments regarding difficulty when first trying to insert it. I did so successfully on the first try! It's very comfortable, eco-friendly, and helps you understand your body more. Definitely worth (at least) trying.

I was skeptical about using a menstrual cup but I am now a convert. I was using tampons without applicators, so it wasn't a tough transition. If you haven't used those before, I can see how this would freak someone out. Once you get the hang of it, they're amazing. I have no leakage and can make it the full 12 hours. It's completely comfortable and I can't feel a thing. It's a bit tricky to learn to insert but if you watch some videos and read some online tips, you will get it. I will never,ever go back to a tampon. There are no smells or mess with this. The first time was a bit of a massacre but once I learned how to use it, I've never had an issue again.

I did A LOT of research before purchasing this. The Diva Cup has been great, I only change it twice a day. Inserting & removing was easier than I expected based on my research, but I'm thankful for that.

Cons:
It leaks sometimes over night, not sure why. I don't think it's anything wrong with the product, maybe it's my weird sleep positions? But regardless, still less leakage to deal with than sleeping with pad.

I can feel the stem sometimes. No matter how I put it in or how much I try to push it inner, the stem tends to poke me. That's a bit uncomfortable. I have yet to cut it though. Waiting until I feel 100% sure I can take it out without the stem before I take that step.

I think the cup presses against my urethra. When I have the cup in, sometimes when I pee, the flow feels very restricted. I push hard, but it still comes at a reduced rate. I read online that leaning forward while urinating helps, and it did a little, not completely.

However, I think the benefits of the cup heavily outweighs the cons. I don't have to worry about a leaking tampon or vaginal dryness. I never have to feel like I'm sitting in my period or feel that waterfall when I stand up after sitting for a while. The Diva Cup works great (though I've never tried the other brands so I can't make that comparison).
