I used to love this product before they changed the formula in summer 2009. Now it causes great irritation to my face. My skin is dry, especially under my eyes. Please bring the old formula back!!!

I have used this product for so many years, I can't even recall when I first started using it. Oil of Olay has made small changes to this moisturizer over the years and I have stuck with it until this recent formula change. With the new sun shield formula, it smells like a cheap sunscreen that was not made for people with sensitive skin. It is sticky and does not absorb into my face. It clogged my pores and made my skin so oily, I looked like I needed to wash it again. I will never buy this product again. I have switched to Murad's Skin Perfecting Lotion, which really works wonders! It does not have a sunscreen though. I am so disappointed. I used to really love this simple, everyday use product.

I am another disappointed customer. I have been very loyal to Olay sensitive line, especially this spf 15 moisturizer, which I have been using at least five years or maybe even longer. I stocked up as usual, opened a new bottle, and it smells like sunscreen and it burns my skin! I instantly noticed the difference and googled around, and voila! they changed the formula and it seems that there are many unhappy customers. Drugstore.com - please update the ingredients because it is NOT reflecting the bad new formula which contains Octisalate, Avobenzone, Homosalate and Octoctylene, which the wonderful old formula did NOT contain.

Why did you change a wonderful product? I have used this product since I was 1989. I was always complimented that I looked younger, but now your product burns my skin and is causing swelling and wrinkling! Don't you test this stuff first? Haven't you heard: If it isn't broke, DON"T FIX IT!! Whoever oversaw the changing of this product should be FIRED!!! PLEASE...PLEASE......I AM BEGGING YOU PLEASE....CHANGE THE FORMAL BACK! [...]

I have used this product daily under my makeup for many years and loved it. Recently I replenished my supply and within 48 hours my face was a mess from a nasty rash. In addition, I thought it smelled like a doctor's office, the medicinal alcohol smell was so strong. I contacted Oil of Olay and they said that new ingredients had been added as of May 2009. So beware! You may want to try a small patch of skin before spreading it all over your face.

Since the formula has changed I too noticed the bad smell and it also stings my eyes. Had I kept the receipt, I would have returned it. I wrote a review on the Olay website and I guess they didn't like me asking if the change was a way to increase their bottom line or did they genuinely desire to make a better product, because they did not publish it. If you check the reviews, the product went from consistent 5 stars to 1 star. Really sad. I'm looking for another product.

Love this product. I am over 60 and people cannot believe I am not in my 40's, thanks to Oil of Olay. I had initially found this product when my mother was in the hospital with throat surgery. Her face was drying out and wrinkling, my sister brought in Oil of Olay and the results were amazing. The dryness left, but the wrinkling was going away! A miracle product!!! :>

I echo the other reviewers who wonder why Olay would change such a well-loved product. When I opened my new bottle of Olay Complete, I was struck by an overpowering smell - that of chemical sunscreens. My original reason for using this lotion was that it didn't stink like sunscreen all day, but still offered protection. I've trusted Olay for over 20 years with my skin - how could they do this??
