Remove the lid from the Jar carefully. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery compartment and lift the cover. Install 2 x AA batteries into the compartment, being careful to match the polarity as indicated (+ and -). Replace the cover over the compartment and tighten the screw. Screw the lid back onto the Jar tightly.
Deposit Coins. Insert a coin into the slot in the top of the County Money Jar. The amount deposited will be displayed on the screen.
- To clear the account balance or reset the County Money Jar. The account will be reset to zero and $0.00 will be displayed on the screen if the batteries are removed. You can also remove the lid from the Jar and press the Reset button to rest the balance to $0.00.
- Keep the Counting Money Jar clean and dry. If any part of the Jar gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Use and store the bank indoors, in environments which maintain normal temperatures.
- Handle the Jar carefully and do not drop it.
- Occasionally wipe the Jar with a damp cloth to keep it clean and looking new. Do not allow water in or near the electronic slot, as this may damage the device.
- Modifying or tampering with the Jar's internal components can cause it to malfunction and will void any warranty.
