 Dissapointed...by Nadia in Beacon Falls, CT on 8/1/08Cons: Dries Out Skin, Irritates Skin Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: not recommended I started using the Neutrogena Wave about three weeks aso, intrigued that it was going to work well on my skin. I am 18 years old and have normal skin, so all I really need to do is keep it moisturized well; overall, any product works on my skin fine. I rarely break out, and when I do, it's ocassionally one or two pimples in the T-Zone. I started using the Wave in the morning, hoping to exfoliate my skin, and yes it did leave my skin feeling soft, but after a few uses I started noticing breakouts on my skin in irregular areas, like my cheeks. I figured it was because I was PMS-ing, and that it was normal, so I continued to use it...only to notice that I was breaking out more and more, and it has only gotten worse. My skin now feels irritated and is even flaking near my nose and forehead. I'm sure this product can be improved, the only dissapointment is the cleansing pads. They didn't foam up enough, and I don't know what's in them but it's making my skin horrible. I just hope I can clear up with something else soon. This product takes a few minutes to foam (I thought I was doing something wrong when it didn't foam), so I will try to foam up the pad under running water before attaching it. I shouldn't have to do that, but I'm not ready to give up on this product yet. I have a few larger pores here and there, and I know nothing will make them smaller, but I'm hoping to get them cleaner. I am currently on the 4th day of using this product, and it only seems to have made my acne worse! I'll admit that it DOES leave your skin softer and smoother after using it, but that's ALL IT DOES!!! And like everyone else has said, the pads don't foam up as much as they portray it in the commercials which kinda sucks. I have also heard that you'll break out REALLY badly if you stop using it, so I'm not looking forward to the transition period from this to another product. = [
It might just be that you need near-to-perfect skin for this to work but it doesn't help if you have mild to severe acne. If you need a good recommendation, try Noxzema. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
 Washes makeup right offby Kristen in Michigan on 7/13/08Pros: Clean Feel, Refreshing Cons: Cost Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: recommended This does a great job washing off my makeup. My face always feels clean after using it and it's pretty gentle on my combination skin. Only problem is that it's not the cheapest facial cleanser around, so I don't use it every day.
Hint on getting the pads to foam more: Take the pad, find the side that has the most cleanser on it, quickly put it under water, then fold it in half and rub it together for a couple seconds, then put it on the device. It always foams great for me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The first time I used the product the vibrations burned my skin a little but it did feel and look softer also it prevents acne to some degree so mabye I wasnt cleaning my face well enough resulting in more acne but I think it was overal a good product but I'm not sure it should be that high priced for what its worth... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
