I have rosacea that itches, stings, and makes a rashy mess on my face. This lotion is very soothing for that. I also use the Sensitive Skin version of Sarna when my face is just too freaked out to stand Menthol and Camphor. The smell is OK to me, just smells clean. It lasts pretty long for over-the-counter, but label limits you to 3X/day, and I would need more for total control of itching. That's why it didn't get a "5" from me.

I have itchy legs in the winter and I have been using Aveeno medicated lotion for the problem. It's not perfect so I kept looking for something else that would really take my itch away. I tried Sarna and I was disappointed. It stopped itching for like 10 minutes after I applied the lotion, but then it itches again and my legs were freezing because of the lotion. It wasn't a pretty experience in the snowy NY winter.

This is the best product for sunburn relief. I have fair, pale skin and every summer I get toasted by the sun. Aloe Vera has never helped me much. Sarna actually reduces the number of days I've suffered with sunburn. I highly recommend this to anyone who's out enjoying the sun a bit too much.

The worst lotion I have ever used. If you don't mind smelling like an old person or hospital go for it, otherwise stay away, I don't know about itching, but I bought it for dry skin. It does NOTHING for dry skin; it only made my body tingle and not in a fun way either! As for dry spots on skin, which is what I bought it for, it did NOTHING. All I did was waste money. This lotion is good for nothing.

My 10-year old son suffers from eczema on his elbows and knees and we had been using a prescription steroid cream to treat his skin. Our pharmacist recommended applying Sarna in between the cream applications, and my son's skin has dramatically improved. As a result, we've been able to cut back on applying the steroid cream, which can be a little harsh on his skin. I highly recommend this product - it works great!

Sarna is the only thing which helped my husband with itchy rashes on his legs. After daily use for about 4 days, the rashes are gone completely. I love the smell so much, I use it on my arms at night just to smell good. P.S. He likes the smell too (which is unusual for a man).

This is the best anti-itch cream ever! I was infested with bed bugs, which are the most unbearably itchy bites, and this was the ONLY thing that helped. I recommend it to all of my friends. And I think it smells good.

This is the best lotion I've found for relieving itchy skin. The relief is almost instantaneous. I'm not very fond of the scent, but the tradeoff is worth it.

During my second pregnancy, I had a rare pregnancy rash and this was the only lotion that helped relieve the severe itching! I am now buying it for my sister-in-law who is experiencing the same rash that I did! Smells like camphor, but relieves the itching and cools your skin.

This is the worst smelling lotion I have ever used. Its performance is acceptable in relieving itch, but Gold Bond works just as good or better...without the awful scent.
