My toddler has eczema, and I've used Aquaphor on her ever since she was a few months old. I've tried several other kinds of ointments, but nothing was better than Aquaphor... until now! Vanicream works much better, and it's much cleaner to use (and the pump dispenser is a big plus!). Aquaphor is still good, and I use it on my daughter's face (for some reason it works better than Vanicream on the face). But Vanicream is excellent for the body--and it doesn't leave clothes all greasy. I only wish it lasted longer--but it lasts just as long as Aquaphor.

I use this product on my 23 month old daughter who has fairly severe eczema. After trying everything on the market this has worked the best. Our Dermatologist recommended it b/c of the zinc oxide in the product. After 1 application I noticed a difference and I now am able to use less cortizone on my daughters skin. That makes us both happy. The product is pricey but has been worth it for us. We also use the sunscreen now.

When my son was born the hospital gave me this for his rash on his face and body. It worked well then and now he is 3 and has eczema and gets a heat rash every now and then and it works well. A bit pricy but well worth it!

My 2-year-old son had severe eczema on certain areas of his body that weren't responding to prescription medications alone. His pediatrician recommended using Vanicream 3 times a day as a sort-of "maintenance" for his skin. It worked wonders. I still put it on him when he wakes up in the morning and at night after his bath to seal in moisture. It has turned his skin around completely. If he does come into contact with an irritating product now, all I have to do is lather on the Vanicream and I notice the difference within an hour.
