This product was a gift and I thank the person every time my kids are sick. I have even debated buying another one. The minute my kids seem like they're getting a cold, I put this in their room that night. It seems to help them breathe immediately and shorten they're time they're sick. The menthol/eucalyptus oil is a nice smell. I've even taken it on vacation to prevent the dry throat and stuffiness in a hotel room. It is so light a waterless so packing is a breeeze. All you need are the refills.

Rotate the "Chimney" all the way to the left so its is in the "Lo" position. Lift the chimney by grasping it at the center as indicated. Tear open the Foil refill package and insert the refill pad into the space under the lifted chimney. Push the chimney back down so it completely covers the Refill Pad. The chimney will now drag the Refill Pad along with it as you move it from Lo to Hi. Refills will last the longest amount of time in The Lo Position. (approx. 8 hours)
