I have long hair that gets dry on the ends if I wash it every day, but it gets a little oily on top if I don't. This is perfect. I've tried baby powder, which just makes a grey mess, and the dry shampoo sprays I've tried smell so bad that they would be too embarrassing to use. This has a fresh lemony scent, and it is a powder that comes out of a thin nozzle, so you can apply it only to the roots like you would if you were coloring your hair. Just let it shake out, and it's perfect. If you squeeze the bottle too much powder will come out. After I apply to the roots, I rub it in, then brush my hair and it looks clean and smells fresh. I usually use this every other day.

I've used this product for about year. I HAVE to shampoo my hair daily because of oil....HOWEVER, this product makes it possible to skip a day if I need to, AND it adds volume to my lifeless, slept on hair.

I use this on my fine textured, brown-dyed-auburnish-with-highlights hair. PROS: There is no white residue if it is rubbed in as directed. I wash my hair every other day and use this on the off day. My hair is permed, but many days I blow it out straight- it works great whichever way I have it. Doesn't leave a "build-up" feel and makes my scalp actually feel cleaner. A little goes a long way. CONS: The smell is super strong. It smells nice, but it can be overwhelming, especially if you don't like it. It also doesn't come out of the bottle very evenly, but if you rub it in well, this isn't such a huge problem.

I have fine hair and it gets so greasy sometimes even by the evening if I haven't blow dried it in the morning, this works great, I do have dark hair and it does take a little work to get the powder to disappear but overall I am very happy with the product and will buy again- but not for a while because I only need a little at my roots and I'm good. I just wish it didn't smell like old lady perfume.

I wish I had found this product many years ago! It has been a life saver for me! I have baby fine hair that gets oily/dirty very easily. I used to have to wash and curl my hair every day in order for it to not look limp and dirty. What a pain that was, not to mention the time that it took out of every day! I now can go 3, sometimes 4 days before washing my hair!!! And my hair even looks better in the mornings after sleeping on it! I have blondish hair, so you don't normally see the dry shampoo powder unless I put too much in my hair. I usually shake some gently into sections of my hair over the sink and then work it through the hair with my hands. If it looks like I have missed a section, I will shake a little bit onto the tips of my hand and work some more into that section. If the product does not come out easily from the bottle, I just tap the bottom of the bottle on the cabinet, which gets the product that is clogged out of the tip, and then it starts flowing easily again. There is only one time that I felt that the product weighed my hair down to where it was flat and lacked body. I was in the South and I believe that the problem was that there was a lot of humnidity in the air/bathroom. Therefore, my hair probably had some moisture in it too. Now, I blow my hair with a hair dryer before I shake in the dry shampoo and that has worked beautifully so far! And by the way, this product smells good too (just don't over do it)! My husband is always telling me how great I smell and strangers have commented as well. Since I don't normally wear perfume, it has to be the shampoo! I highly recommend this product, especially for those with blondish, fine hair.

I hate washing my hair everyday, but it gets oily overnight so this stuff is great to use in the morning when I need to be somewhere quickly.

OK at first, but then when I didn't use it for a few weeks the nozzle clogged. It took about 5 min of holding it under hot running water to slightly unclog it. Then it came out in big white globs that were hard to get out of my hair and stained my clothes. A disaster. I threw it out. Back to Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo for me -- it's great!

This product is absolutely amazing! I have always wanted to try dry shampoo as I have very fine hair that I normally have to wash every day. I was going on an extended trip and knew that I might not be able to wash my hair everyday so I got this to try it and it was a lifesaver! After using it my hair looked very full and like I had just blow dried it. And it let me not only wash my hair every other day but when I was unable to wash my hair for a third day and it looked horrible greasy this made it look fresh and not greasy at all. To get good results though you do have to follow the instructions on the bottle, which are to part hair into sections and apply the powder to the part of each section at the roots, then when you are done with that brush it out. I sometimes put a little on my hands and rub it into my scalp and brush it through also. I absolutely love this product it really does what its supposed to!

The product came poofing out of the container. It was a dry powder and when I used it on my scalp, it did not seem to make my hair any cleaner or easier to work with and it I couldn't get all traces of the powder off my scalp.

Excellent product! I have color-treated oily hair, which I prefer to wash every other day. For my non-wash days, I just rub some of this powder in, blow-dry and style, and it looks and smells fabulous. Worth every penny, and lasts a long time, too.
