Tried many powders over the years. This is my favorite. It covers well but you don't look like you have make-up on - it looks very naturally. I have extremely fair skin, and the other light tones don't work as well for me, only the light ivory.

Make sure you clean your brush very often - ideally it should be cleaned after every use which I don't remember to do. But I do it after every two, three uses. That way you don't break out!

I'm a makeup artist that has been using Bare Escentuals for over 14 years and wanted to compare this product. I have very fair, sensitive, acne prone skin that tends to be both oily and dry. This product went on easily, smoothly and didn't irritate my sensitive skin. Compared to Bare Escentuals, this product is a larger size, has better SPF coverage, and is over $10 cheaper and easier to buy. Definitely give this a shot, you'll be glad you did!

I purchased this hoping for convenience when traveling (which I do a lot for business). The powder did disperse thru the application brush at all (yes, I removed all of the packaging). When i opened the powder chamber, much of the product spilled out). I threw this out at the hotel and did not even bother to return it... that would have wasted even more of my time. I do not recommend this at all.

This powder foundation is great for a variety of uses. It works well on summer days, when you don't want a heavy foundation, great for days when you want a more natural, lighter look and for setting make up after applying.

Just open the bottom to shake the powder through the holes in the second bottom of the container. Then uncap the brush then use the brush to use a small amount of the foundation. You can also build up layers to get the effect you want on your skin.

I have also found it works really well for an eye shadow foundation. I use a smaller blusher brush, rather than the brush that comes with the item. Then I apply it to my clean dry eyelids then apply my eye shadow. It sets both cream and powder eye shadows and lasts a long time.

I have not noticed any breakouts with my combination skin and the fair/ivory matches my skin perfectly.

For a little extra coverage when needed I use Loreal concealer. I also use a base sometimes.

For years I used liquid foundation that made me break out and look fake. This mineral stuff is amazing and non-irritating. Love it.

I read so many good reviews and I took my chances on this mineral foundation. First of all, the packaging is so bad, and the container size is soo small. Be ready to loose product with the way that the brush is attached to the container. Most of it ends up in the bottom of the lid attached to the brush. L'oreal needs to conduct a focus group on this packaging and fix the situation.

Color choices are very poor. I have fair skin and tried the three lightest shades and could not find a match. Shades were either too chalky or too orange. I ended up buying a more expensive mineral foundation from my favorite foundation company that is now going out of business...

Great product! Easy to apply, great all-day coverage. Only minus is it's messy to apply and the powder gets all over the place.

I was pleased by the all-day coverage. You have to get used to the fact that it's more subtle, not heavy like liquid makeup. It makes you glow!
