These calcium tablets are pleasant to the taste - No need to swallow. Less expensive than the flavored tablets.

I have tried several different calcium supplements during the past few years. After taking Caltrate 600+D for several months I have seen a big difference in my nails. My fingernails are growing strong and straight and are less prone to peeling and breakage. I take just one first thing in the morning. Since this is the only supplement change I've made recently it must be this product.

Need the clacium due to bone loss but hate the tablets you chew. this product is an easy way to get the needed amount.

It has the right amount of calcium and vitamin D that was recommended by my Nurse Practitioner.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer several years ago, I was told that the chemotherapy and maintenance drugs would rob my bones of calcium which could lead to bone loss. My doctor recommended Caltrate 600 with vitamin D to preserve bones. I take the Caltrate twice Daily and no other bone restorer, and so far, my scans have been good. It really has helped in preventing bone loss. I don't like milk or many dairy products so this really is another way to ensure that my body gets enough calcium. The vitamin D helps the body absorb the calcium. My only complaint is that the pills are big and sometimes hard for me to swallow, however, if you swallow them vertically, it's really not so difficult.

Recommended by physician to safely suppliment calcium in women over 50 whether you take any other medicine for bone density. The D helps your body to absorb the calcium. A must for women over 50. The only drawback is that the pills are very large. Taken twice a day.
