I take this product twice daily to help prevent osteoporosis. I was taking a product that only offered 500 mg. calcium and supplementing my vitamin which also included calcium. This regimen is easier and I only take 2 Caltrates plus 2 vitamins daily--much easier to handle and I have confidence in this product.

It is great to find a vitamin that I only have to remember to take twice a day instead of 4 times a day. It also costs the same as the one that you have to take 4 times a day - what a bargain

I am a professional RT that does bone densitometry testing in our office. Calcium is a MUST in the fight against osteoporosis! It is a silent disease, and you will NOT have any symptoms to let you know that you have it, until it's way too late to prevent it! My doctors recommend that every woman, from 18-108 years old, take a calcium supplement of some kind. While it's not the complete answer to prevent osteoporosis, it's an important part. Caltrate 600+D is one of the best calcium supplements on the market. The D is important in calcium absorption, and you find everything you need in one supplement. I've taken this for years. I also recommend the chewable version for those who do not like or have trouble taking pills.

I am taking this Product because I have Thyroid problems and am on Synthroid. This Product is Very Easy to Swallow! I feel Healthier! Great Product!
