I began taking this product at the recommendation of my doctor after being diagnosed with a stress fracture. These are by far the best calcium supplements as they contain calcium citrate, which is the most easily absorbed form of calcium, and is not as likely to cause kidney stones. Calcium is essential for bone health and is one of the most important minerals an athlete can take. These are easy to take, contain a good amount of vitamin D along with the calcium, and do not cause any ill side effects.

Although Vitamin D is in the D3 form which is good, the calcium citrate is 63% of the recommended daily allowance. One pill is not enough and two pills is more than you need.

These upset my stomach if I don't take them with a decent-sized meal. Eating my morning bowl of cereal does not do them trick. I will finish this bottle, but I probably won't buy more.
