I started taking Citrical after my mom broke most of the bones in her foot after a bad fall (required surgery to repair). I tried taking different brands and types of calcium on and off, but they always seemed to make me feel sick to my stomach afterward. Citrical Petites is a great supplement, no sickness, can take with or without food. I take one in the morning with coffee and one with dinner. It's a great product I would recommend to anyone concerned with maintaining good bone health.

Decided to try a new calcium supplement. Thought these would do the trick since they are described as easily absorbed and "petite." If these are the petite tablets, I would hate to see the regular ones. The special coating does not help me get them down. I have yet to succeed, mostly because they are so thick.
I am including two pictures of the tablets in relation to a penny for other first time customers.

These petites are so easy to swallow and an excellent source of calcium for bone health. My doctors recommended calcium supplements many years ago, and I have been taking Citracal every day since. I think it's the best and my doctors like it too.

I recently learned that I should not eat dairy products, which had been my main source of calcium. I was thrilled to find a petite sized tablet, because I have trouble with big pill sizes. But these "petite" pills are small in length only--they are very thick and even cutting them in half, were hard to swallow.

citracal petites are easy to swallow instead of the horse pills some calcium pills are. they are also easy on the stomach and can be taken on an empty stomach or before bed
