My son had eczema that covered almost 80% of his body at all times. The dermatologist has given us so many things to use and steriod creams work the best but he hates the way they feel and would often not put it on. A friend told me that he had eczema and that the Sulfates in soap tear his skin apart and that I should try a sulfate free soap. I tried Burt's Bee's and my son's skin cleared up in a matter of a week. He does occassionally get a patch of eczema here and there from time to time but his body is finally healing and the eczema scars are starting to go away. I can't believe the 5 dermatologists never suggested this but I'm just grateful that there is a product like this that has saved my son a ton of teasing at school... his nick name use to be eczema. Poor kid... but I guess all kids get teased for something.

My husband always had really dry skin, irritatingly so for him. He began using our sons Burt's Bees Tear free Baby shampoo, which helped with the dryness, but made him smell like a baby. So I bought him this and I think it smells great and more manly. (also his dry skin hasn't came back with this product.)

My husband uses this almost every day and loves it! Smells wonderful, especially if you like the woodspicey thing! He has had the same bottle in the shower for about 2 months now.

I bought this for my husband to try after searching for something natural and not frilly or unscented. He loves this. It's not too strong; it's just right and smells great. He uses some of the Old Spice Pure Sport scented products and this goes great with them. It is a bit thin, but he uses a puff sponge and it lathers up great. A little goes a long way with this. Also, my husband works construction and has no problems coming clean using this. Again, we LOVE it :)

This is one of those products that you either love or hate. I hated it. The smell is great and doesn't last on your skin, but the oils do and I broke out almost immediately. So did my husband. It certainly isn't easy to use in the shower. It's runny and doesn't lather well. But the itchiness afterwards is practically unbearable.

My husband hated this. He liked the smell, but it only lasts in the shower. I couldn't even smell it on his skin two minutes out of the shower. He said it made his skin feel oily. In fact, he hopped back into the shower a couple of hours later because he felt so oily, and used a different soap. He tried it again today, although he had a nasty rash on his genitals from the soap. And his rash got worse. So he hopped back in the shower and washed again, with a different soap. On the other hand, I like the soap. Not enough to use it on a regular basis, because I think Philosophy's shower gels are easier on my skin and they double as shampoos. The scent isn't exactly like Old Spice. It is woodsy though. But it doesn't last out of the shower. I couldn't smell it on my skin right out of the shower either. My skin did feel tingly in places afterward, kind of like using peppermint soap, but I think that's what ended up giving my husband the nasty rash, so I won't be reordering.

I've been looking for a good men's body wash or soap that doesn't make my skin dry and/or itchy for a long time. I've tried many regular and "natural" products and this is the first one that fits the bill. It gets me clean, removes all odor (I've found some cleansers don't leave me smelling bad, but do seem to leave a little of yesterday's scent on me), and no itchiness afterwards. Unlike the last reviewer, I enjoy the scent of the wash; it is woodsy with a hint of citrus. The scent is pleasant in the shower and doesn't seem to leave anything post-shower, so no conflict with deodorants or colognes.

I wanted to like the Burt's Men's line but I just couldn't get over smelling like "natural" old spice. Someone mentioned this on the shave cream--and it's true. I may buy it for my grandpa. The after shave balm was pretty runny, too. I prefer a variety of other shave/body wash natural stuff to this. Too bad, because I like their lip balm and some of their other stuff is the best.
