The product: 5 stars. The packaging: 2 stars. My stomach's reaction to it: none. (Unlike with regular iron tablets). I was SEVERELY anemic. Doctor told me that if I couldn't get more iron into my diet, we might have to go down the road of a blood transfusion (Oh my! Wasn't expecting that!!). So I tried regular iron. 2 days later, I left my bathroom. I told him about what had happened. He callously shrugged his shoulders, leaving me to ponder my options. That's when I found this product. It was much more expensive than regular iron pills, so I bought the smallest box they had- in case it didn't work. But it did. My food stayed down, and I stayed out of the bathroom. At my next checkup, bloodwork was run again. I wondered if these iron supplements would work... and when the numbers came back, the doctor was all smiles. He said that they looked really good, and to keep up what I was doing. So, I have. I still wish the packaging was more user-friendly, though.

This product is fine. The safety blister pack requires that you peel a protective seal off the back before pressing the pill through the foil cover. This is a bit tedious for those pain or dexterity issues. Packaging could be improved.

It's a fine product. I notice no side effects. The packaging is a problem to me, however. I fill my pill box for a week at a time, however, and then I only have to open the blister packs once a week so it's not quite so annoying.

Product's child resistant blister package is a real PAIN! I would purchase this product again if there was an easier way to get to the pills. The plastic wrapping is extremely difficult to peel off; I have to use scissors to cut each individual one -- which is too much work, in my opinion.

I have had slight anemia symptoms for years --feeling cold and dizzy sometimes. However, after I tried SlowFe, I seem to get a new life. My hands no longer feel cold and I no longer feel dizzy and tired. Moreover, I can study for two hours without having a rest and never have the feeling of breathlessness or needing more oxygen for my brain. I'm very happy to find it.

I have severe anemia and will probably have to take iron supplements the rest of my life. Being a vegetarian and leaning toward a more holistic approach to health, I would like to take a natural source of iron, but there just isn't enough iron in natural sources to keep me healthy, so Slow Fe is the only product that works for me. I take Slow Fe every day and I have no adverse side affects. If you have trouble opening the blister packs, just use the sharp ends of a tweezer, poke the back packaging and spin it a little to tear it open. I do this every night and it works great!

This product has been the solution to my problems with anemia, and I would recommend it to anyone. The packaging needs to be challenging to open because of the extreme risk to children of an iron overdose.
