great product for my son who has been slow in gaining weight and doesn't like to eat. This adds the right amount of vitamins needed for healthy growth. It does have a strong odor, however, what works for my son is putting the drops into his gerber cereal.

I like that it has iron and 400IU of vitamin D, but that's about all I like about it. I give my son the dose from the dropper right before feeding him solids. I think it helps keep it down and cut down on the terrible taste. My son tolerates it from the dropper, but he absolutely will not eat anything mixed with it. Like other reviewers said, it stains so have a bib or rag handy. From our experience, it also makes his p00p stain more. We cloth diaper and ours looked pristine until we started using this. We'll keep using it because the health benefits outweigh the drawbacks, but it could really use some improvement.

The trick about vitamins is in order to be effective you kind of have to be able to eat them. Sure I don't expect it to taste like candy, but holy cow this six is gross. Can't blame the little one at all for refusing.

My pediatrician recommended Polu-Vi-Sol to my twins since they were 9 months old as diet supplement. It works well and my twins sleep better and longer with multivitamins. However, the expiry date for this vitamins is too short. I bought 5 and just realized the expiry date is less than 2 months from my order date. I think Drugstore should remind clients if they order something which are going to expire soon especially the clients order more than one.

the product is good,and I bought 3 bottles on Apr.29.However,when I received,I found that the Exp. is Nov.01 2013.Just only 6 months left!One day one drop(1ml),50ml per bottle,I need 150 days to use them up!I'm not satisfy!

I bought this because it seemed like a good multi vitamin for a 1yo. With cold season, I thought it would be good for him to have Vitamin C, and living in Seattle with very little sunshine, he needs vitamin D. He came up a little low on iron, so this sounded like a good vitamin supplement to cover a few bases.
However, he could not bare the taste of it. He made a horrible face when I gave it to him and spat it out. Tried it a few times and the same thing happened. So now I have to throw out the whole bottle since he won't take it. This was a surprise since we've been using Tri-Vi-Sol, and he has loved taking that.
I think I am going to try to find some Tri-Vi-Sol with iron and give that a shot. I wish drugstore.com carried it.

I wouldn't buy this because of the synthetic "vitamins". None of which are form natural sources, not even close. More natural vitamins are available in liquid form for babies, they probably taste better too.

I tried to give this to my 3 months old on it's own and I think more landed on my clothes than in his mouth. The iron smell is very strong and I'm sure the taste isn't great. We mix the dose in one full bottle (4oz or more) of milk and our baby has no problem with it. So far we haven't seen any signs of constipation.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was very prompt and box was in good condition. I was disappointed (and confused) to find that the coupon inside the box had expired in Dec 2011, when I placed the order February 2012. The expiration date was 2013 so I wasn't concerned about the medicine itself.

due to the iron in this formula the smell and taste are awful. our kids will take all other liquids medications and vitamin easily, but not these. they grimace when i try to give them this, so i tasted it myself and it is terrible! the vitamin d alone version (without iron) from this mgf does work well.

I was told to start giving this to my 2 month old. He gets nothing but bottled breast milk. He refused to eat the first few times and after that he eats off and on but when he does, he spits it right up. Breast milk is hard to come by, its very important and what's the use if he just spits up the vitamins anyway. Not to mention I tasted it and its disgusting. No fruit flavor there. And it stains everything, makes him have more gas and his stools really stink! I plan on buying something else, to heck with the iron. He can get that from my milk.
Fill the dropper to the 1 mL line to provide the full daily dosage. use full dosage, regardless of age or weight, unless your child's doctor recommends a different dosage. Dispense with a single squeeze of the dropper bulb. It is normal for a small amount to remain in the tip.
Dosing Tips: Drops may be given by dispensing directly into the mouth. Drops may also be mixed with formula, fruit juice, cereal or other foods to increase your child's acceptance.
This product comes with a child-resistant cap. Refrigeration not required. After opening, store away from direct light.
