So I'm thinking it may be as effective to just make sure the water hits your ears as you rinse shampoo out in the shower, and then using a cotton swab afterwards. I've tried to like this product, really, but I have not seen a real improvement in my wax's decline. This is rather pricey for something so easily done with a shower head. Pass this one up, y'all.

My husband suffered from waxy build-up in his ears that really bothered him. He tried all the other products. The other reviews were not so positive for Earigate, but we tried it anyway. It works great for him. He uses it in the shower, so no mess and now I buy it regularly.

Not bad if you give it a chance!

I think this has been effective in keeping ear wax out of my ears. But its messy to use. The nozzle gently shoots a stream of Earigate (water+??) into your ear, but the Earigate liquid has no where to go but out. So do this over a sink or in the shower, and have a towel handy.

The nozzle is a neat concept but it does not reach far enough into the ear canal to be effective against the places where wax gets compacted against the surfaces. Plus ... it's room-temperature water.. Wax is -- well, waxy ... Drip some candle wax on a plate, apply some room temperature water. The wax ignores it. Same general concept inside your ear.

While it is expensive and messy, I find that it does work. I was having major problems with ear wax build up; I would wake up at night because I could feel it in my ears. However, this product helped with that and also helped me to finally break my terrible Q-tip habit.

This product is great at keeping ear wax under control, not to clean out ears that are clogged with wax. When used like the directions state you will find that ear wax buildup and clogging is decreased.

While I agree that it is a messy product to use, I've found that using in the shower is much easier. At first I didn't think it worked, but after using it for a few months I'm finding that it actually does work. I was going to my doctor about every 4 months to have my ears flushed, and since I started using it I haven't been in 6 months. More cost effective than co-pays at the doctor's office.

Usage: 1-2 applications 3 times per week.

Remove protective cap. Tilting head to the left, insert tip into the left ear and activate. Solution will wash wax back out of the ear. Tilt head to the right and repeat procedure for the right ear. It is highly recommended that applications take place over the sink. See package insert for warning as additional information. Do not freeze.
