I ordered because I needed a non-SLS toothpaste and I liked the Healthy Balance Rinse my dentist gave me. This toothpaste has a cinnamon flavor, but it's supposed to be peppermint. The Drugstore.com ingredient list did not specify cinnamon or I would not have ordered. I later checked on The Natural Dentist website which stated the product contains cinnamon oil as a natural flavor. I cannot comment on how good a toothpaste it is because I only used it once, but would like others to know about the cinnamon oil content in case they need to avoid cinnamon toothpastes or simply do not like the flavor. Pick another Natural Dentist toothpaste if you don't want cinnamon.

At first I felt like it was just too expensive and doesn't last nearly as long as regular toothpaste. When we ran out I didn't buy it again and went back to regular stuff. That's when I realized how great it was... My husband always had really bad breath and canker sore problems. It wasn't until we ran out of this stuff and used regular again that I realized he never had bad breath or a single canker sore while on it (because he had bad breath and a canker sore 2 days after going back to regular toothpaste)! I got this again and guess what!!? The canker sores went away again along with the bad breath. yay! I'm guessing it was the sls that doesn't agree with him.

This toothpaste tends to dissolve in your mouth faster than other brands, so, as a result, it seems to be less effective. The main flavor, peppermint, is fine, but there is a secondary flavor I didn't like which had sort of a vegetable or plant flavor. The large cap makes it more difficult to get the toothpaste on the toothbrush without making a mess and the plastic tube doesn't stay flat as the toothpaste is used up, so that makes it difficult to get that last 20% out of the tube.

Excellent Product. I started using it when I heard of a study linking Sodium Lauryl Sulfate to canker sores. I started using it and have noticed a big decline in the frequency of Canker sores. it doesn't eliminate them, I'm just down to once, or twice a year now.

My kids also like it for the same reason. Whether they notice the same results as I I am not certain, but my oldest daughter has said it is why she uses it.

A great Product.

I was sent a sample of this product and was immediately sold. It reminds me of the taste of my favorite childhood toothpaste....Ipana! It's all natural and I like that too!

I love this toothpaste. It is very gentle yet very effective. I like that it has no detergent to irritate your mouth and gums!

Loved this product when I tried it in the past. I wonder if they changed the formulation, as it doesn't taste as I remember and doesn't leave mouth fresh tasting.
