This is the first time I tried Stila Major Lash. Its a good value at 8.50. Not the best mascara ever and the brush is average, but it applies evenly and does not bother my eyes at all. I had to apply 2 coats and it did not clump. I wear contacts and have sensitive eyes and there is no sting. If you want killer long, thick lashes in few coats teat yourself to Diorshow mascara by Dior. For every day basic mascara that still looks great, this does just fine.

Great mascara, the black color is great on my blonde lashes, I don't have to apply much to have dark, volumized lashes.

This product comes off in about 2 hours :(

It works well with any other mascara that you like , so you can combine it anything. It is now my favorite mascara and I will definitely buy it again.

I wasn't impressed with this mascara. It works just fine but doesn't deliver the 'oomph' I was looking for. I also noticed that by the end of the day the mascara had smudged around my eyes.

Very nice mascarra. It gives you a nice long lash that looks natural. My only complaint is it goes on very wet and dries slowly. Because my lashes are already long, I get little wet dots along my brow bone if I'm not careful!

I first tried this a few months ago and for the first time in a while have gotten compliments, not just on my eyes but I had one person say, wow your eyelashes are so pretty. Keep this coming!

I am flabbergasted by the negative reviews this item has gotten!!I have average eyelashes. True, it is thick--I dab the wand lightly with a tissue before applying. I find it best, as with any mascara, to get as close to the lashline as possible and wiggle back and forth--then pull upwards. The "wiggle" action allows the product to coat your entire lash, and pulling upward curls it. I then do the lower 3/4 of my lashes, and sweep the wand in a horizontal motion across the tips of all of my lashes. You'd be surprised to find that you have another good 1/8" of lash that you don't notice when putting on mascara the traditional way!The only way I've been able to remove this, and with much effort, is with an oil-based remover. But on me, this mascara does NOT budge all day. Rain, snow, sweat, hot lights--it has never moved once. I'd rather have staying power than easy removal.I don't mind keeping the secret to myself, I guess! [...] I usually buy three or more at a time.

What a disgusting, goopy, mess! On top of fighting with all the goop the brush bends easily and the mascara flakes. And the tube doesn't last nearly as long as other brands. A dud.

This is a great mascara for the price; just the right amount, as I imagine it will last me about the three to four months that normal mascara does before it goes bad. The light, smooth formula goes on nicely and is not at all clumpy. I especially like the brush, which is round and full, but with short bristles, making it easy to apply mascara close to the lash line. I cannot speak as to how it lasts, as I have not worn it all day yet, but it doesn't seem as though it will flake off like some others do. Overall a good product.
