Tried everything and nothing works like ZERTEC....even the generic brand for me does not work as great as Zertec does....I have no bad side effects like I get from other allergy Meds.

This product worked great when I had hives that lasted for four months. Benedryl's effects would wear off after four hours and I'd wake up itchy, but with Zyrtec I could sleep through they night. I also recommend it to patients over Claritin of Allegra (I treat mostly acute allergy symptoms, and recommend Zyrtec when Benedryl's sedative effects will be problematic.)

I used Zyrtec tablets for years to control my allergies and constant perennial rhinitis. When insurance no longer covered this and it became available over the counter, I stopped using it due to pricing, since I was now paying for it. I've tried several other allergy therapies but had to come back to Zyrtec. Nothing works as well, in my opinion.

For years, I have taken Zyrtec for allergy relief...usually from mid-March through mid-November. It works. I take it once a day before bedtime. I do experience some drowsiness for the first few days when re-starting useage each March.

I found the generic version of Zyrtec at my hospital pharmacy for [$] per 100ct; that's a huge savings over the cost of the brand name version and it works equally as well.

I used the prescription for years, now I have found it to be as effective over the counter as the prescription product. I use it every day.
