I typically use the ELF eyeliner pen and really like it. The reason I decided to try this is because I thought it would last longer. The ELF seems to run out fast. Anyway, the tip is not firm enough for me. It is more of a brush than felt tip. As a result,it is difficult to draw an even line and goes on too heavy. I can buy two ELF eyeliners for less than the L'Oreal.

I decided to try this liner based on reviews and I'm glad I did. I normally use Avon liquid eyeliner, but I've found that it fades thoughout the day and doesn't keep that "freshly applied" look as this product does. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the felt liner since I've not used it before, but I found it to be easy to apply. I think it's a little pricey for eyeliner, but I guess you get what you pay for. I also like that it removes easily with oil free eye makeup remover. I use this in combination with Loreal Volumnious waterproof mascara and it looks great together!

This eyeliner goes on easier than any other kind. I always struggled with liquid liners but no more. The black is boldly pigmented, goes on beautifully and lasts forever. In the summer, dancing in stuffy hot clubs, this liner stays fresh looking while all my other (more expensive) makeup melts off. I absolutely love it!

The make-up is lovely, for starters. It has a gemstone quality to it that I've not found in any other brand. But what makes this product so unique is the applicator tip. It is truly fantastic because it is long and flexible. It never gobs up and you can make a variety of lines with ease - even very close to the lid-line. I'm the kind of person who does her make-up in the morning and doesn't think about it again until 2 or 3. By that time, everything else is practically gone, but the beautifully perfect eyeliner is still 100%. My only wish is that they'd make this product with more adventurous colors.

This used to be Maybelline Express Line...then they repackaged it as Loreal Intense. Really great at giving a solid line. You need a steady hand, but that's liquid eyeliner for you. Depending on how you angle the "brush" you can get a really thin line, or a really thick line. Stays on most of the day, helps if you set it with some shadow. I like it for a crisp look, but also works for smokey eyes.

I recently bought Clarins liquid eye liner and took it back and went back to L'Oreal. This is the best liquid eyeliner I've used. You can wear it as light or heavy as you want - great applicator control. No problem with soft contacts.
