I was looking for a neutral taupe but was having a hard time finding such a shade. I settled for the Golden Splendor color and I'm really glad I did. It's not really as dark as the swatch shows on my screen. The tube represents the color accurately. It is like a golden beige with a tiny bit of peach. It has a shimmery satin application it is not a frost. It works wonderfully to highlight the whole mouth or just the parts where you want to highlight (pout or evening glamour). I love red lipsticks but sometimes it's just too harsh during the summer months. This color does a great job to tone it down and very easy to layer and blend over other colors.
