Have you ever been in a meeting or on an airplane ride when someone nearby has stinky gas? You know you don't want to be THAT person. You can use these strips inconspicuously. They look like other breath strips, except the package says "Gas-X." I suffered the gas pains for two days, even taking these religiously. However, expecting something OTC to overcome that kind of serious gas pain was maybe setting the bar too high. I would give them a chance for regular usage. They are easy to use and carry around, and they taste fine. The individual strips are hard to open and not as effective as the softgels. They may be handy if away from home, but how hard is it to swallow a small pill. I don't like these at all. Comments about Gas-X Extra Strength Thin Strips, Peppermint, 30 ea: This product is a very convenient way to get gas relief when you're traveling or out in public. The packet is slim and fits in your pocket and the foil is easy to open. And then the strip itself melts in your mouth and leaves a minty taste. And it works very effectively. I usually always have 2 packets on me when I go out and use them when I need. They work pretty fast too. The only con I can think of is that they are becoming harder and harder to find in stores. I only see the chewables, not these strips. But drugstore.com does have them! so that's good. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Gas-X Extra Strength Thin Strips, Peppermint, 30 ea: Honestly, I eat too much and too fast. Normally before I lay flat to go to sleep, I let one of these strips melt on my tongue. It relieves the indigestion enough for me to relax and fall asleep. But, it doesn't work for serious heartburn. Sometimes the packet is so glued together, it can't be opened without scissors, causing you to guess where to cut without damaging the strip.
