Stays on well and makes eyes POP!

I bought this pencil when L'oreal had a BOGO free promotion so I was happy to try out something new. I was in the market for a new pencil and this fit the bill perfectly. It is soooo black and applies so soft, I don;t have to tug at my skin at all. The color lasts all day. The color is black and rich. The best part is that it is less than half the price of Urban Decay, Kevin Aucoin Laura Geller and other high end designer brands. Try it out. It's worth the money

I am impressed with this eyeliner for its very reasonable price. It's not perfect, but it's close. It goes on easily and smoothly, stays on well and looks beautfiul even in the hot Las Vegas climate where I live. It is a very deep black, soft pencil and it is as close to the BEST pencil out there (which, in my opinion, is Estee Lauder's new Double Wear in Onyx 01). Double Wear is 3X the price of this, though. The difference is seriously minimal during normal wear. For serious waterproof, this one falls just a wee bit short of EL, but hey, for a lot less dinero, it's easy enough to re-apply it on the go, so this is the one I am going to re-buy.

I love the color! The intense black really emphasizes/brings out my very dark brown eyes. The only problem I have is the bleeding color that gets messy in the inner corners of my eyes. I have to wipe it away. Otherwise, this is a perfect product.

This eyeliner pencil was totally useless. Each time I tried to sharpen it, the tip would break off. I could have gotten a bad batch or old product, not sure. Would not recommend this eyeliner.

This doesn't stay in the water line. It also smears and makes your eyes looks so messy. My Cover Girl eyeliner works better than this.

this is a great liner but i think the price is alittle bit too high for such a tiny eyeliner. I normally go to my local beauty supply store and get eyeliner for $1 and they do the same job as any other expensive black eye pencil at a department store.

For someone looking for a very black bold eyeliner, this is it. It was too dark for my taste, but then again, I'm not that great at applying eyeliner. Doesn't smudge too well though.

So I use Mac Powerpoint pencils, and use quite a few products by the Hip line, and wanted to try their pencil liners. I bought this in blac, green and navy and before applying them, did a swatch test on my hand with each colour versus the mac counterparts. Hip lasted over 9 hours whilst powerpoint were starting to smudge! From then on, I used this everyday for a week, alternating between the colours and cannot believe the colour payoff and durability these pencils provide! I would urge anyone using 'normal' drugstore brand eye pencils to ditch theirs, and give these a go- I have used dior, chanel, lancome and mac and can swear that these are faaaaaaaar better quality, consistency and performace wise than any of the premium brands I have tried. These are (as most of the Hip products!) an absoloute must buy!

okay, so i paid 16 dollars for urban decay eyeliner. it was supposed to be the best, not smudge, stay in place completely all day. well it didn't. within an hour of wearing it, i had racoon eyes... complete waste of money. so i tried this stuff. WOW! i put it on this morning, and it is now 9 at night, and it still looks the same accept a little faded (but i tightline my eyes, so that's bound to happen with any liner). i even took a nap and this stuff stayed in place. definitely worth it.
