Like all things it happens with time. I mix Bio Oil with a little bit of baby oil and use it when I get out the shower once a day. I notice a difference after the 1st month of using it. I will continue to buy this product. I LOVE IT!!!!!

I can't really judge this product because i didn't use it for a full 3 months...i have to admit after one month of using it twice a day i got really lazy!!!!! one thing that i found is that honestly applying this stuff is a chore!!!! by the time i was done rubbing it in my arms were just dead LOL and people think that this stuff spreads good I honestly do not agree with that! I feel as though you need to use so much of it to cover a large area...and if u don't use enough but your rubbing it in it kinda gives you a rash burn from rubbing your skin without enough moisture ...i used it for 1 month and i can say that i saw someeeee small results on really tiny stretch marks..and even some on large ones...with 3 months use it would probably be amazing ..if you can actually stand to apply this stuff for 3 months!!!!!! for me it was pure hell i HATED IT!!!!!! so now i just use Palmer's cocoa butter i get out of the shower and smear it all over me and boom im done....who knows maybe i will eventually go back to this for another 2 months ...but as for right now i cant be bothered to do it...
Have been using it for a while and the scars on my face and its great. My boyfriend love it too.

I use Bio Oil daily on my son's skin which usually has minor to major eczema patches. Lotions and creams will burn when apply on his skin of the eczema is a bad flair but he'll always tolerate Bio Oil or a Shea butter/coconut oil bar.
I'm addressing the claim that it "helps minimize the appearance of scar tissue, including acne and surgical scars." And in another section, it claimed "even old scars." It's totally disingenuous to make that claim without being specific as to how "old" is old and what type of surgical scar. I did not expect it to remove an abdominal scar that is 15 years old and a result of a myomectomy, a procedure where an incision is made (longer than a C-section but no deeper) to remove fibroid tumors from my uterus. But I had hoped that it would possibly fade the red marks and smooth down the ropey line where the incision was made. It did nothing. It's nothing more than expensive baby oil and moisturized my skin a bit but no more than a decent quality skin moisturizer. It's possible (some reviews claim so) that if used when pregnant, stretch marks may be minimized but "old" surgical scars? Didn't for me and doubt it could do anything for anyone with an old surgical scar.

I use Bio-Oil after I shower. It goes on light and dissolves quickly into your skin. There is no greasy feeling after. I also use it on my face and under my moisturizer since I live in an arid part of the country. Bio-Oil also helps minimize the look of scars. It's become a must-have in my morning regimen.

I have a bad scar on my shin from a bike accident 6 months ago. I can see the difference in just two weeks of using this product. I also use it as a moisturizer for my face. My skin feels and look younger

I have been using this product for over 6 weeks now and honestly I have not seen any improvement on my skin. I use it for stretch marks on my upper thigh area and I use it once in the morning and once at night. I follow the instructions and I even massage it a little longer. I am still not giving up since I heard a lot of good stuff about this product. Wish me luck....
If you have had any type of surgery or serious scar, you know that Bio Oil works! It also works well on dry skin patches and, as another reviewer remarked, dry nails & cuticles. I swear by it. If you can get it on sale, it's a great deal.

After one week I used this oil I noticed that my skin became amazingly softer.
It is recommended that this product be applied twice daily for a minimum of 3 months. It should be massaged in a circular motion until fully absorbed. During pregnancy, this product should be applied from the start of the second trimester to areas that are prone to stretch marks such as the abdomen, breasts, lower back, buttocks, hips and thighs.
