Free and Clear Hair Gel is the only product I can use. It has no fragrance. I am sensitive to fragrance
and this is the only brand that is truly free!

I have fine, straight hair (chin-length), and also have sensitive skin and a propensity for cancer. I have used Free and Clear shampoo and conditioner for a while, so I thought I'd give the styling gel a try. Wow! It really adds volume to my hair in a way no other paraben-free product has. Through some trial and error, I have discovered a dime-sized glob, applied to my wet hair and combed through with a wide-toothed comb, works best.

I love the fact that it doesn't make my head itch. You only need a pea size blob or it makes hair stiff and heavy. When the correct amount is used it works well.

I am very happy with this gel! I have allergic reactions (severe rashes) to fragrances, etc. that are in most cosmetic products. My dermatologist recommended the Free & Clear & Vanicream products & they work- no more rashes!

I also have very thick, shoulder length, curly hair & this gel does a great job defining my curls. Those who say it's sticky don't know how to apply a gel! ...I just use a quarter size amount, divide it into 3 parts & scrunch it into my damp hair. Every gel looks "hard" or "wet" or "sticky" while drying- it's a "gel cast". All you have to do is gently re-scrunch your curls after drying to remove that gel cast & reveal soft curls. I let my hair air dry about 30 minutes & use a diffuser to finish, then gently scrunch upwards.

I am very satisfied with this product!

I found using a sufficient amount on wet hair after shampooing gives your hair more body and texture. I also tried it on dry hair but prefer it on wet hair. I don't even use any additional styling gel after I blow dry my hair and curl it.

The product made my curly/wavy hair easy to work with. I have contact dermatitis so I have to be careful what types of gel I buy. This gel caused me no breakouts. It has a moderate hold. Love it. However wish it was sold in a bigger tube or a tub.

I discovered that I have a sensitivity to fragrance so I had to get rid of all of my scented products. I discovered this and since I started using it my skin irritation has disappeared.

Very little odor and what there is does not stay with you. Product drys very quickly so work with it right away. Don't scrimp or it wont hold. I have very thin flat hair and it gives me lots of body and height if I curl and blow dry using this gel.
