I use this product all the time - day time, night time, anytime. This product is great for as much volume as you wish. I am a professional makeup artist and have worked for a number of lines including Lancome and Dior which have some of the best mascaras in the world...one day while at cvs I saw this mascara and said to myself oh what the heck its all over the mags its inexpensive I'll try it...ever since I am just in love with it...it has all the vava boom I love...the only thing is that yes the tube does dry faster than department stores but at that price who cares! and for those who wrote poor reviews I'm almost positive that either they are not appying it properly or are challenge in the makeup department to begin with... I recommend this mascara to all my clients...

I tried this out along with L'Oreal Double Extend and Maybelline Extend-A-Lash. Lash Blast is an excellent all around mascara. While it doesn't lengthen as well as Double Extend, it does volumize better and is far easier to remove. I found the brush to be well designed and it applied the mascara smoothly. A second coat gave excellent volume BUT do not let this mascara dry between coats or you will have a clumpy mess! I found this mascara to be far better than Extend-A-Lash and prefer it over the more lengthening Double Extend for everyday use as it is faster to apply and easier to remove.

I was honestly surprised that I liked this mascara so much. I've tried several other Covergirl mascaras that I was pretty unimpressed with. My sister recommended it and I gave it a try. I'd pretty much given up on Covergirl mascara wise, but LashBlast is actually one of the best mascaras I've ever used.

I have another favorite mascara that creates long, elegant lashes but it's getting to be hard to find so I tried CG LashBlast in Very Black. Wow. Big, bold lashes. I found that it looks best if the first coat is applied from above with the eyelid closed, and then a second coat the usual way from underneath with the eye open. The brush handle is fatter than others, but I got used to it and it occurs to me that this handle is probably more "ergonomically" correct.

I love this mascara. It goes on smoothly, defines my lashes, doesn't clump. I have dark blonde hair, so my lashes are fairly light. This mascara makes them look long and dark. I've been looking for something like this for a long time and I'm glad I found it.
