I have good hearing because I've protected it all my life. But I still like to go places and enjoy myself in loud environments. These cut out the background noise so I can actually 'hear' friends talking in a bar. And going to a loud movie isn't physically painful to my ears when the plane crashes in full, overly loud sound! Sleeping, my husband snores, can't even be attempted without these little beauties. Be aware that there's a reason why they come in a 20 pack. After a couple of uses, you'll want to put in a new pair as they get dirty and don't expand as much. Still well worth it!

Hearos changed the design of the Ultimate Softness Series for the worse. The new, not improved, longer version keeps falling out of my ears during sleep because of the round end that hits the pillow. I can't use it to improve sleep anymore. I was quite happy to find what I thought was the old USS here on drugstore.com and bought a dozen packs. Instead, I received the new version, exactly what I was trying to avoid. I'm returning the lot. The old version deserves 10 stars; the new one is useless.

I have tried several brands of foam earplugs, and these are the softest and most comfortable I've found. I carefully roll/squeeze them to very thin, and insert deep in my ear (enough so I can barely reach 'em to remove 'em). I can't hear anything, yet they are comfortable enough that I can sleep through the night next to my snoring wife.

This product blocks sound well and is easy on your ears. I have tried other ear plugs that are uncomfortable. These are super soft yet very effective. I sleep with them every night to block sounds that would otherwise keep me awake.

Outstanding plugs. Very soft and comfortable. Make sure you insert them properly. Leaving 90% of the plugs outside your ear canal is like wearing nothing at all.

These are the softest earplugs that really cut out the sound of my husband snoring. I'm so used to the silence, I have to use them even if he's traveling and I'm alone. And I only have to replace them every 7-10 days.
