This product is the best out there. You can tie off the bags when ever you want. If you let them just get full, it holds so many diapers that it is too heavy to pick up! When my son was bottle fed there was zero stink from this thing. As my son has gotten older and his poop stinkier, we either flush solid poops or tie off the bag and take it out more frequently. The fact that you CAN tie it off an take it out without bag waste is one of the biggest pros to this pail. I like that we can use it as a regular step garbage can one he is out of diapers too.

We use these in our church nurseries. They work well because they hold several diapers and the volunteers do not have to open the pail with their hands

I have three children, and had only discovered the Diaper Dekor when I was about to have my second child. Now I'm on my second Diaper Dekor (third child), my first lasted two years, which I feel was ample time for the money. I recommend this product to every mom I meet. It really controls the odor. Sure you get some odor when you drop in a diaper, but it disapates almost instantly. I love that you can change the refill whenever you need to, so if you have a really stinky diaper, just tie off the bag and cut it with the handy bag cutter. Other diaper pails, you would have to replace the whole refill-what a waste of money! And it's really easy to disinfect, just wipe down. There aren't any creases or crevices for things to get into so that adds to the ease of cleaning. I don't know how I lived without a Diaper Dekor, I highly recommend it!

We have been using the Diaper Dekor Plus for 4 months now for our twin sons and absolutely love it. For the first 3 months we emptied it about twice a week, and as the kids are in daycare now only empty it once a week. There is very rarely any smell coming out of it - only when it is time to change the bag anyways - and even then it is only noticeable for a couple of minutes after we have recently deposited a diaper or when we carry out the bag. It is very easy to use - practically hands free -which lets me keep my hands where they need to be - on my very wiggly sons. Maintenance (both changing bags and sanitizing) is super easy and done in seconds. The only real con I see thus far is that the bags don't have any warning strip to let you know they are near the end and may not be sufficient to hold the diaper load as it fills up. Luckily for us not a mess, just an inconvenience, but we now know better and always check the amount of remaining bag when we change it.

I was very unhappy with this product. It is easy to drop the diaper in without touching the diaper dekor but it does not control odor at all. Unless you plan to empty the diaper dekor every day, I would not recommend it.
